Today, on the occasion of Ugadi, the makers have come up with the one minute 19 seconds teaser of the film which has been receiving a positive impression from the audience. The teaser showcased power-packed performance by Mahesh and also hinted that the movie will give an eye feast for action lovers out there. Mahesh’s dialogues will also grab attention. Overall, the teaser has received a thumping response from the audience and increased the expectations on the film.

Dil Raju, PVP and Ashwini Dutt collaborated to bankroll this project. The movie is gearing up for a grand summer release on May 9th, 2019.

Generally, Superstar Mahesh Babu goes on vacation as soon as his film hits the theatres. Everyone thought that he will do the same after the release of Maharshi, as his kids Gautham and Sitara will have summer vacation holidays at that time. But, it seems that Mahesh has no such plans.

According to the sources, Mahesh has decided to start working on his next film with Anil Ravipudi as soon as he gets done with Maharshi. It seems that the film will be launched in the first week of May and the regular shooting will commence from the second week itself.

Mahesh is planning to finish the film as soon as possible and release it during the Sankranti festive season next year. Superstar Mahesh Babu and director Trivikram share a good camaraderie and they have been close friends for many years. They have also worked together for the films, Athadu and Khaleja in the past. Now, they are working together once again but this time, it is for an ad.

Yes. It seems that Trivikram will direct an ad which features Mahesh, in the second week of this month. According to the sources, this commercial is for a mobile app, for which Mahesh is working as a brand ambassador. Earlier, Trivikram has directed many ads with NTR, Allu Arjun and Mahesh as well.

Sources claim that as it is a good deal and will be just two days shoot, Trivikram has okayed it. Meanwhile, he will also start his next project with Allu Arjun sometime soon after Ugadi. On the flipside, Mahesh is currently prepping up for the release of his upcoming film Maharshi.

Even the movie has done an excellent pre-release business by fetching more than Rs.100 crores through theatrical rights.

Meanwhile, it seems that it has got a lump sum of money in the form of digital rights. Popular OTT platform, Amazon Prime has bagged the digital rights of Maharshi for a whopping amount of Rs. 11 crores. It is the highest price for a Telugu film in the digital arena, barring Baahubali.

Even Mahesh’s last film, Bharat Ane Nenu’s rights were also bagged by the same company. As the response to that film was quite good, Amazon bagged the rights for this film as well. Meanwhile, it is also being heard that Maharshi will set records in satellite rights also. The film is slated to release worldwide on May 9.

Super Star Mahesh Babu is regarded as the undisputed king of overseas box-office. All his movies do well at the USA box-office irrespective of their result in the Telugu states. The same point was proved a lot of times because of which there is always a heavy demand for Mahesh’s films in the USA.

Looks like Maharshi will have to face troubles in the USA as the buyers are showing no interest to grab the movie. The producers of Maharshi are said to have quoted Rs.18 crores for the USA region. There are too many releases happening in May which include Hollywood projects as well.

Considering this competition, the makers felt that 18 crores is huge and are asking for 12 crores. The producers are still strong about getting someone on board for 18 crores. We have to see how this deal is going to end.

Soon after the release of Rangasthalam, Mahesh Babu offered a chance to the director for an exciting project under Mythri Movie Makers production. While Sukumar is preparing the script for the movie, Mahesh initiated talks with director Anil Ravipudi which brought pressure on Sukumar.

Sukumar thought that the project with Mahesh is not going to happen and approached Jr NTR with a script which he declined.Somehow Allu Arjun came on board and the PR team of Allu Arjun made an announcement that Allu Arjun’s film after Trivikram will be directed by Sukumar.

The elections heat is slowly rising up in the state of Andhra Pradesh. As there are only about 20 days left for the polls, all the major parties in the state have intensified their campaigning. It is already known that state cabinet minister and the heir of Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Nara Lokesh is contesting from Mangalagiri constituency.

This is the first time Lokesh has been contesting in an election. Thus, the party cadre wants him to win at any cost. Now, he also got support from Superstar Mahesh Babu’s sister, Padmavati. Wife of MP Galla Jayadev, Padmavati has been campaigning for her husband who is in the contest for Lok Sabha seat.
