Superstar Mahesh Babu is currently busy with the shooting of his upcoming film Maharshi. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, this movie is being bankrolled by Dil Raju, Ashwini Dutt, and PVP Prasad jointly. Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead role in it. It is slated to release in this summer.

Meanwhile, it is already known that actor Allari Naresh is essaying a key role in the movie. He will be seen as Mahesh’s best friend. Mahesh, who is an NRI in the film, had to return to his hometown after the death of Allari Naresh and decides to change the fate of the village.

Going with the storyline, the death scene of Allari Naresh plays a key role in the movie’s graph. Thus, director Vamshi Paidipally has apparently written this scene in a highly emotional way. Sources claim that if this scene hit the right chords with the audience, the film will be a sure shot winner at the box office. Anyways, we have to hold our breaths up until the movie’s release to witness the magic of that scene.

Super Star Mahesh Babu is currently busy working on his 25th project titled as Maharshi. The film stars Pooja Hegde in the leading lady role and the makers planned the shoot of the movie yesterday at Shamshabad Airport.

The entire film unit reached the Airport on time and even Mahesh made his presence by 7.30 AM in the morning. The airport officials did not give their consent for the shoot but kept the film unit waiting. The makers too waited patiently but then the airport officials received a threatening call of hijack which pushed the officials to deny the permission for the film’s shoot and eventually, the makers had to cancel their shoot and Mahesh returned home.

The makers scheduled the release of Maharshi during the last week of April.

Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna made her debut in Tollywood with the film Chalo, which was a box office success. Later, she scored a blockbuster with Geeta Govindam and an average grosser in the form of Devadas. Currently, she is busy shooting for Vijay Devarakonda’s Dear Comrade.

The actress recently held a chat session on Twitter and answered few questions shot by her fans. One of her fans asked how would she react if she gets a chance to act with Mahesh Babu. Rashmika quickly replied, “Very Funny… Me acting with Mahesh Babu sir…That’s a good joke..”

She also revealed that Vijay is her favorite actor in Tamil and expressed her desire of working with Suriya if given a chance. Rashmika also said that she would not be getting a chance to act alongside Prabhas.

A couple of months back, Superstar Mahesh Babu ventured into multiplex business and launched his first property in Kondapur and named it as AMB Cinemas. Popular multiplex chain company Asain Cinemas has partnered with Mahesh in forming the AMB Cinemas.

Mahesh has received a show cause notice the other day from Ranga Reddy district GST Commissionerate anti-profiteering wing for violating GST norms. As AMB Cinemas has been continuing to charge old GST rate on tickets, even though the taxes on tickets has been reduced on January 1st by GST council.

The GST council reduced taxes to 18% from 28% for the tickets priced above Rs. 100 and 12% from 18% for the tickets priced below Rs. 100. As per the reports, AMB cinemas has bagged an amount of Rs. 35 lakhs by not changing the GST rate. GST commissionerate has ordered the management to return that amount to the consumer welfare fund.

The other day, Namrata Shirodkar posted a picture of Sitara on Instagram where the kid is seen in classical attire and is training for classical dance. Madame Tussauds museum of Singapore hosts a lot of statues of popular celebrities from Indian film industry. Super Star Mahesh Babu’s statue is also being readied for the museum.

Before the official inauguration of the same is going to happen, the organizers are going to unveil the statue first in Superstar’s AMB Cinemas. The AMB Cinemas management is going to put the statue in their property for Mahesh’s fans to click photos with the statue.

The development is confirmed but the details regarding the date and time are yet to be locked. After a day’s exhibition in Hyderabad, the statue will be flown to Singapore’s museum.

As per the latest reports, Mahesh Babu is planning to kick start the shooting of Sukumar’s project from June. The final schedule of ‘Maharshi’ will be wrapped up by March but Mahesh wants to give some time to Sukumar to work on the script. The director has been working on the script from the past 1 year but it seems like Mahesh is still not satisfied with the script. So, he wants to give some more time for the director. Meanwhile, Mahesh will go on a family vacation in summer and join the sets of Sukumar’s project from June.

On the other hand, Sukumar is planning to complete the casting works by then and also give the final narration of the script to Mahesh Babu and then kick start the shooting. Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling this project.

There were a lot of reports in the recent past that Mahesh Babu is going to turn a producer with an exciting web series but still there is no confirmation on the same. As per the latest reports in Tollywood, the project is confirmed and will kick-start soon.

The project is going to be a web-series that will have a grand release in three seasons on one of the popular digital streaming platforms. Each season is going to have 8 episodes with an hour duration. Titled as Charlie, the series revolves around a thriller backdrop.

Hussain Sha Kiran who provided the story for Jr NTR’s Nannaku Prematho and who directed a small film Meeku Meere Maaku Meme is going to direct the web series. Kala Bhairava is going to score the music for the series

Dil Raju announced a couple of interesting projects last year of which one is with Mahesh Babu’s nephew and MP Galla Jaydev’s son, Galla Ashok. Titled Adhey Nuvvu Adhey Nenu, the film was supposed to mark the debut of a short-film-maker Shashikanth Muthuluri. Unfortunately, the project is said to have called off now.

Dil Raju made plans to do another film with Ashok by bringing director G Krishna Reddy on board. Krishna Reddy is a former associate of SS Rajamouli and earlier directed a film called Aadu Magadra Bujji with Sudheer Babu. But it seems that this project is also not going to take off with Ashok.

The director is said to have shown interest to get Raj Tarun on board for the movie. Dil Raju who earlier worked with Raj Tarun is now planning to bring shape to the project.

It is still unknown about the reasons behind Ashok’s project getting called off.
