Vijay Deverakonda and the team of the film Dear Comrade have screened the film a few days back to Bollywood’s ace director-producer Karan Johar. Karan liked the film immensely and immediately announced that he will be remaking the movie in Hindi soon. Everyone was shocked by Karan’s immediate decision.
According to the sources, he has bought the movie’s rights for a whopping amount of Rs. 6.2 crores. He might take it on to the floors sometime during the next year. Vijay has already confirmed that he will not be acting in the remake and cleared all the rumors way before they came out.
Karan might make an official announcement regarding the cast and crew after a few months. Meanwhile, despite the mixed talk, Dear Comrade is having a decent run at the box office. Directed by Bharat Kamma, this film had Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.
