I Fulfilled Sridevi’s Wish: Boney Kapoor

Popular Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor is making his debut in Tamil film industry by bankrolling Thala Ajith’s latest film Nerkonda Parvaai. This is an official remake of Hindi film Pink. Starring Shraddha Srinath in another lead role, this movie is all set to hit the screens on August 8.

Speaking about the film, Boney said that it was his wife and star actress late Sridevi’s wish to produce a film with Ajith as the lead. “I couldn’t fulfill my wife’s wish when she was alive. But I fulfilled it now. I am thankful for all the team members of this film who made it possible. Without their efforts, this project wouldn’t have been like this,” he added.

Ajith has shed his mass hero image to act in this social courtroom drama. Already, it is getting some rave reviews from the premiere and media screening. Nerkonda Parvaai is directed by H. Vinoth. It also features Vidya Balan and Kalki Koechlin in guest appearances.
