Legendary actress Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor made her acting debut with tragic love drama Dhadak, which was released last year. Though the film was not a major hit at the box office, Janhvi was praised for her performance. without sticking to mainstream dramas, she is now experimenting with various genres.
One of her ongoing projects is the biopic of Indian Air Force fighter pilot Gunjan Saxena, who was best known for her services in 1999 Kargil war. The movie is being directed by Sharan Sharma. The team was supposed to get a clearance certificate from Defence Ministry for making the film.
As it is regarding the Armed forces, getting clearance is mandatory. But the team didn’t get that certificate till now. Hoping that they would get it sooner or later, they have already started the shoot and completed half of the film. Meanwhile, the Defence Ministry is yet to give the clearance. Apparently, the team is hoping that they would get clearance once the elections get finished.
