Kathi Mahesh, the film activist turned political commentator bagged huge fame after being a part of Bigg Boss first season in Telugu. The actor cum director also bagged popularity after he entered into arguments and fights with Pawan Kalyan fans. After that, he was banned from the state of Telangana following his vitriolic statements on Ramayana, Lord Rama, and Goddess Seetha.

Now, the latest buzz is that Kathi Mahesh is officially entering into the politics. Mahesh who is in AP now recently spoke about his intentions of contesting in the upcoming polls. Mahesh said that he will contest for Lok Sabha and added that he will support political parties which work for the development of the Dalits. At the same meeting, he took potshots at Pawan Kalyan as well.

The second season of Telugu reality show Bigg Boss has came to an end. This is going to be the final week of the second season 2 and the finalists are Tanish, Kaushal, Deepti, Samrat and Geetha Madhuri.

On this note, the former contestant of Bigg Boss season 1, Kathi Mahesh made some sensational comments on Kaushal. “Most abusive and irrational guy on BB2 is Kaushal. Wish he wins BB2 and proves how idiotic we are.” posted Kathi Mahesh on Facebook. When one of his followers asked him why he always goes against the person who has more public support, he replied “I don’t care about public opinion (what ever you or I mean by it). I simply believe what I think and feel.”

He also clarified that he doesn’t care about public opinion and goes by his opinion and added that he is going to support Deepti Nallamothu. “If we go by Deepthi’s campaign today. I will vote for her.” Added Kathi Mahesh.

Film Critic Kathi Mahesh has been living in Bangalore post his externment. Telangana police slapped a six-month externment from Hyderabad against Kathi Mahesh for his alleged hate speech on Lord Sri Rama which hurt the religious sentiments of a section of society on several occasions.

However staying in Bangalore, he has made enough trails to get back into the city with court’s permission but none has shown pity on him. Now, Kathi Mahesh is shifting to Vijayawada and is claiming that he is going to stay there for a while. On reaching Gannavaram Airport on Monday, Kathi Mahesh had an interaction with the media. He stated that his native is Andhra Pradesh and he is going to stay in Vijayawada from onwards.

He added that he belongs to Andhra Pradesh and he is only externed from Hyderabad which gives him the right to live anywhere he wants except in the Hyderabad city of Telangana State. As he is from AP, he is going to stay in Vijayawada from now.

Cine critic Kathi Mahesh was expelled from entering the Hyderabad city after he made controversial comments on Hindu God Rama. Kathi Mahesh was expelled from the city of Hyderabad without being given a prior warning.

The critic approached the High Court, as he feels that his Fundamental Rights are being snatched away from him. “They,(Telangana police) robbed me of my livelihood. I was expelled without a prior warning. This is unacceptable”, told Kathi Mahesh to a spokesperson. He has appointed an advocate and is ready to fight against the happenings. Kathi Mahesh is currently staying in Bengaluru at his friend’s residence. Mahesh Kathi adds that he has been targeted because he is a Dalit.

Kathi Mahesh’s legal advisor told a media person that Kathi Mahesh’s Fundamental Rights were hurt. “They have no rights to expel him all of a sudden. A 24-hour window was to be given. It is clear that they tried to snatch his rights”, Ravi Bhalla told. After studying the case, the court has ordered Telangana government to give an explanation on this issue within three days.

After Mahesh Kathi, the Telangana police officials also externed Swami Paripoornanda from entering Hyderabad city for 6 months. Mahesh Kathi who came to know about this has responded to the same on Twitter profile.

“I am condemning the ban on Paripoornanda Swamy. Putting a ban is not a solution for the problems. Such type of things are non constitutional in the current times. Banning persons will not give solutions for the issues and if government realises that, it would be very good” said Mahesh Kathi.

The cops banned Paripoornanda Swami for the comments he made last year.

Mahesh Kathi is externed from the city of Hyderabad for six months. The historic decision taken by Telangana DGP opened to a positive reaction as well as a criticism. MRPS Leader Manda Krishna Madiga is the latest person to criticise the decision taken by the Telangana police department.

Talking about the decision taken by DGP, Manda Krishna said, “Hurting people in the name of Freedom of Speech is objectionable but the officials are reacting only when Dalits are doing it. The officials are not concerned about the same when it is done by some upper classes in the society. This decision by Telangana police officials is certainly non-constitutional.”

On the other side, Telangana police officials also took a decision to put a ban on Swami Paripoornanda for some objectionable comments he made last year.

Mega brother Naga Babu has heavily reacted to the comments made by Mahesh Kathi on Lord Sri Rama and the epic Ramayana. Apparently, Naga Babu has sent a video message revealing his opinion on the ongoing controversies surrounding Mahesh Kathi.

Interestingly Naga Babu did not take the name of Mahesh Kathi but has criticised the person who has spoken ill about Ramayana and Seetha Devi. He has requested that the chief ministers of both the Telugu states should consider this as a serious issue and take some legal action on the person who has made these comments.

Ace Film critic Kathi Mahesh has refuted Sunitha’s rape attempt charges against him. He stated that he will file a defamation case of Rs 50 lakh against Sunitha and Konidela Productions for instigating her.

Mahesh Kathi said that Sunitha made rape allegations against him during a live debate on Mahaa TV channel. He came down heavily on Sunitha for making baseless charges against him.
