Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has received an honorary doctorate from the University of Edinburgh for his contribution to films and his philanthropic work.

He overall has two doctorates after receiving this. In 2009, he received a doctorate from University of Bedfordshire. As a Bollywood actor his contribution towards the society with a kind heart, unconditional service towards nature, he was awarded the Doctorate.

His services like providing solar energy to rural area’s, charity works, building a separate ward of children were considered while providing him the Doctorate.

Shah Rukh Khan said that “It is extremely grateful and humbled to receive this.”

Even before we forgot the Tweets Salman Khan posted about trolling in Twitter, Shah Rukh Khan does the same and asks his fans and followers to stop trolling and posting ridiculous comments.

It’s was not too long ago Salman Khan warned his fans to stop trolling other celebrities in a series of tweets. He further added that he will quit all social networking sites if any such incidents occur again. Salman Khan was asked again and again about his fight with Shah Rukh Khan and competition with him in films. Though both the actors have come over it, fans and netizens are trolling them over it.

This time, Shah Rukh Khan took up the responsibility of saying (warning) his followers to stop trolling him or any of his other colleagues. He said that you do or say your freedom on social media, but abusing someone’s freedom isn’t cool.

The Pakistani actress, who was loved and appreciated for her role in Pakistani serial Humsafar, Mahira Khan, is gearing for a dream Bollywood debut in Raees.

Reportedly, the lady has bagged a role opposite none other than, Bollywood Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan in his upcoming film, Raees. The film is one in which SRK will be seen in the role of a Mafia king, and ingénue, Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be playing the cop.

Shah Rukh Khan can rightfully be deemed as the wittiest Khan on the block, as when it comes to his war of words, this man cracks up everyone with his witty replies.

It so happened that at a recent event in Mumbai, the Superstar was present to announce Got Talent World Stage Live, which is a Spin-off of the ‘Got Talent’ Franchise. While things were jive and lively, Mini Mathur the host for the evening just slipped on words while posing the star with a question.

Their friendship had taken an ugly turn back in 2012, over the Son of Sardar and Jab Tak Hai Jaan controversy, and since then things have not been the same between Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn!

Recently being candid and vocal, Ajay Devgn, went on record to say that he is not friends with SRK, but then that doesn’t mean they are enemies. There are many friends turned foe tales in tinsel town, and because of the Ajay-SRK spat, SRK’s friendship with Kajol got affected. Kajol was obviously on her husband, Ajay’s end.

The whole cast of Farah Khan’s Happy New Year will be on a promotion spree and that too via means of a World Tour, which has been named ‘SLAM’. The tour commences from September 19 in Houston and will continue to New Jersey, Toronto, Chicago, Vancouver and San Jose.

Breaking the news on his Twitter Handle was superstar, Shah Rukh Khan himself. He tweeted, “Seduce u.. Love u… Amaze u…Go mad with u! SLAM The Tour from the `Happy New Year` Team (sic),” And in another one he wrote, “USA & Canada slammed in sept. 19th Houston, 20th New Jersey, 21st Toronto, 26th Chicago, 27th vancouver, 28th San Jose”.

Along with the whole cast of HNY, i.e SRK, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani, and debutante Vivaan Shah, stars like Malaika Arora Khan, rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh and newbie singer Kanika Kapoor, will also amaze and seduce all.

He is a super cool father and loves his children too much. It wouldn’t wrong to deem Shah Rukh Khan to be a doting father, who just happens to be the coolest dad around.

Recently, the Badshah went on a drive with his 1 year old son, AbRam. Wondering how we know it? King Khan reveals himself, in his tweet. The Superstar, on his Twitter handle, wrote, “Went for a drive with my just about yr old AbRam & he totalled the music system, to the tune of Wrecking Ball! & parents r wary of teenagers”.

In today’s age parents are watchful of their teenage kids, but seems like his one year old is giving him the reason to be wary of him, and not his teenage kids- Suhana and Aryan.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan underwent a minor eye surgery in Mumbai. That’s right! SRK undergoes Eye Surgery.

The actor also went on to joke that he can now “read even between the lines”.

The actor took to Twitter to thank the doctors who performed the surgery on him.
“A big thank you to Dr. Burjor Banaji & his lovely wife for doing my surgery. It’s so good, that now I can read even between the lines,” tweeted SRK.

Shah Rukh underwent the surgery for vision correction and going by what a source close to him said, all is well now!

SRK was his usual witty self when he tweeted: “This is a joke…so some of u don’t react to as an anti alcohol group. ‘Now that I don’t need glasses I will drink straight from the bottle’.”

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan will be seen next in “Happy New Year” opposite Deepika Padukone. The film is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and directed by SRK’s close friend Farah Khan.

Shahrukh Khan named in Rape Case!

King Khan Shah Rukh Khan’s driver was arrested by the Mumbai Police on Wednesday, June 26. The driver was accused of raping actress Sangita Bijlani’s domestic help.

The driver’s real name is Rajendra Gautam and is also known as Pintu Mishra. He acquired the victim’s phone number through a friend.

The accused promised the girl, who is originally from Latur, Maharashtra, a job at a celebrity’s home. The incident occurred at a hotel in Nalasopara, a suburban area in Mumbai.

Rajendra Gautam has been booked under several sections of the Indian Penal Code and will be produced before the Bandra court today.

This news comes across as a shock because our stars have been known to employ people by doing a background check. But here it seems like Shah Rukh sure committed a huge mistake by hiring Gautam.

Sadly, his name is being dragged into the controversy which he has absolutely no role in.

Case Against SRK gets a twist, with The Bombay High Court providing relief to Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan.

The court upheld the order of a magistrate’s court rejecting the plea seeking documents regarding the sex determination test allegedly undergone by actor Shah Rukh Khan’s wife prior to the birth of the couple’s third child AbRam.

Varsha Deshpande had filed a complaint before the magistrate’s court, seeking action against Shah Rukh and his wife Gauri, alleging Gauri underwent sex determination test before the birth of their son AbRam through a surrogate mother.

Advocate Uday Warunjikar, her lawyer, said she wanted these documents for pursuing her complaint. As the magistrate rejected her plea last year, she moved the High Court.

Shah Rukh Khan’s lawyer told the court that no sex determination test was ever conducted.

The HC therefore upheld the lower court’s order. The proceedings on Deshpande’s complaint before the magistrate’s court, however, would continue.

AbRam is Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan’s son through an unnamed surrogate mother.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh is riding high on the success of his cricket franchise Kolkata Knight Riders.

Pitbull, shook a leg with Shah Rukh Khan during the opening ceremony of Indian Premier League last year. SRK even taught him a few Bollywood moves but it seems like Pitbull wants a lot more.

“I want to work with SRK”, says Pitbull, to a prominent media house.

He added, “I had an amazing time during my IPL visit to India. The kind of love and affection that I received was overwhelming. The people of India are really warm. I really enjoyed performing in front of such a huge and welcoming audience.”

“I got to learn a few Bollywood footsteps, thanks to Shah Rukh. He is an amazing performer, full of energy. There is nothing as of now, but I would definitely love to work with him in the future,” Pitbull said.

If Pitbull goes on to work with Shah Rukh, it will be his second collaboration with a Bollywood celebrity after recording “Exotic” with the vivacious diva Priyanka Chopra.

Praising Priyanka, Pitbull said,“She has got a wonderful voice and is an extremely talented artist.”

When asked if he has any actress on mind with whome he’d like to work, he said: “I would like to team up with all of them. There are all such gorgeous ladies. It will be a dream coming true!”

The rapper, who has recorded with stalwarts like Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera and Kesha, says he enjoys collaborating with different artists.

“My work gives me opportunities of working with some amazingly beautiful and talented women. When it comes to wokring with various artists, I have always loved working in collaboration with them.” he concluded.

The Super Star flaunted his six-pack abs in the song ‘Dard -E-Disco’ from Farah Khan’s “Om Shanti Om”. Shah Rukh not only took his shirt off, but also showed the much chiseled body and started a trend. His look and the song went on to earn him a huge fan following. And we must not forget, the film gave us Deepika Padukone!

Nevertheless, coming back to the news at hand, Shah Rukh, reportedly, will go topless and flaunt his abs yet again. You read it right! This time again, for yet another Farah Khan film ‘Happy New Year’, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to go topless.

Whether this ‘topless’ scene will be for a song sequence or one of the scenes in the film, is something that only time will tell.

Farah Khan, however, chose not to comment when asked by a prominent media house about the news.

Well, we can’t comment about what the men have to say about this. But this piece of news has surely got the women (girls in particular) excited.
