Their friendship had taken an ugly turn back in 2012, over the Son of Sardar and Jab Tak Hai Jaan controversy, and since then things have not been the same between Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn!
Recently being candid and vocal, Ajay Devgn, went on record to say that he is not friends with SRK, but then that doesn’t mean they are enemies. There are many friends turned foe tales in tinsel town, and because of the Ajay-SRK spat, SRK’s friendship with Kajol got affected. Kajol was obviously on her husband, Ajay’s end.
There was hopefulness of Ajay-SRK getting back to good terms like before, when SRK dropped in at the sets of Singham Returns. They talked and hugged and even so agreed that Happy New Year’s trailer will be attached to Singham Returns.
Ajay just cleared the air, saying they are colleagues and they just like it that way. They were never friends but then again they were never enemies also. So news about getting back was out of question, because to patch up, there needs to be a problem. Ajay also mentioned that it was SRK’s idea to run the trailer along with Singham Returns, so they agreed to it. And as colleagues, if ever in future they need each other’s support, they’d surely be happy to help each other out.
Aha! Seems like though the animosity has died down, but the friendship is still out of the equation for SRK and Ajay! But we just hope these Superstars remain amicable as ever to each other!
