It is any debutante’s dream to be entering Bollywood opposite Badshah Shah Rukh Khan. And the opportunity was presented to very talented actress from across the border, Mahira Khan. While we know Mahira is thrilled to be working with King Khan. We, hear that Shah Rukh is quite impressed by Mahira’s work already.
At a recent event in Mumbai, SRK, when quizzed about his new co-star, said that he had seen her Telly work before and thinks that she a terrific actress. She suits the role and while their interactions during film’s narration, SRK was impressed by her.
Not only is keyed up with his upcoming Maneesh Sharma’s Fan, but is also thrilled about working with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mahira Khan in Raees. In the flick, he will don the role of a Gujarati blogger and Badshah feels this is a very earthy role for him, as it reminds him of his roots.
Directed by Rahul Dholkaia, Raees is expected to release around July 17th, 2015.
