Actor Rana Daggubati was all praise for the latest critical and commercial blockbuster of Tollywood, ‘Kshanam’.

Speaking at a press meet organized at Prasad Labs, Rana said, ‘I watched this film along with Allu Arjun. I couldn’t guess which twist is going to come next. The film was extraordinary, on par with Hollywood films. Makers gave a technically sound film with a shoe-string budget. I hope that more such films come in Tollywood’.

The event was attended by Manchu Lakshmi, Producer PVP, lead actors of the film Adivi Sessh, Adah Sharma, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Sathyam Rajesh, director of the film Ravikanth Perepu, Music director of the film Sri Charan and few others.

Made with a low budget, Kshanam is garnering universal acclaim from day one. The film is expected to bring huge profits to PVP. We already hear that many producers are competing to grab the remake rights of the film.

Post the resounding success of “Baahubali”, Rana Daggubati’s stardom took new wings and he found new markets across South and Bollywood.

Rana will now present the real life action stories of several survival specialists from across the world in the forthcoming TV show titled “Discovery Real Heroes”.This show will be aired on Discovery Tamil channel starting from March 1. It will showcase the spirit of adventure and the zeal to overcome obstacles in various dangerous terrains.

As per the latest reports, one of the leading producers of Tollywood, Daggubati Suresh Babu, is all set to debut in films by playing a cameo in Azhar, the biopic on the life of former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin.

Suresh Babu is a close friend of director Tony D’Souza, who is directing this Emraan Hashmi starrer. The senior producer couldn’t say no when the director requested him to play a pivotal role in his film. It is said that Rana Daggubati will also plays a cameo.

Suresh Babu’s father Dr. D Ramanaidu had acted in several of his productions, but Suresh Babu has so far limited himself to only production and distribution.

Rana’s new Tamil movie “Bangalore Naatkal” is getting ready for release and the film is a remake of Malyalam super hit movie “Bangalore Days”.

Tollywood producer Suresh Babu has turned a grandfather as his daughter and macho actor Rana Daggubati’s sister Malavika has given birth to a baby girl earlier today at a private hospital. Tollywood hero Rana becomes Uncle.

Bubbly girl Taapsee is going to romance with Rana Daggubati in his forthcoming war drama movie Ghazi.

Tollywood hunk Rana Daggubati has recently signed an interesting film, a war drama about the mysterious sinking of ‘PNS Ghazi’ submarine during the India-Pakistan war in 1971.

Rana will be seen as a Navy officer on the submarine in this first Indian submarine film to be directed by debutante Sankalp Reddy. The film will simultaneously be made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.

After considering several actresses, makers opted for Taapsee as the leading lady. Although Samantha was considered first since she is not familiar in Bollywood, makers opted for Taapsee. Taapsee and Rana were earlier seen in Akshay Kumar’s ‘Baby’ however they didn’t have any scenes together.

Apart from this film Rana is busy with couple of other projects in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. Taapsee is waiting for the roles and finally she got one in Tollywood.

Tollywood hunk and Bhallaladeva Rana Daggubati has faced a strange experience when he was travelling to Goa from Hyderabad on October 28th. Air India offered the same seat for two people, and it is a record scored by Air India. Later they adjusted the seat. This experience shared by the actor through his Twitter page.
