Ghazi, an upcoming Hindi-Telugu bilingual film produced by PVP Cinema will be the next release of Rana. The film brings the story of how the Ghazi submarine belonging to Pakistan was submerged by Indian navy during India-Pak war in 1971. Rana is playing the audacious army officer in this historical action thriller.

After unveiling the film’s first look recently, on the eve of National Navy Day, the makers have just a while ago released the first look of Rana from the film. The hunk looks to be a perfect choice to play the lead role in the film also starring Taapsee Pannu. Karan Johar is releasing Ghazi in Bollywood.

After Akhil was getting off the stage post receiving the best debutant male trophy for ‘Akhil’, Rana took a dig at him by asking his age. Unknowing of Rana’s intentional satire, Akhil replied that he was 22. Rana took no time to break the ice by saying, “I’m 32 and I am still single. Why are you so eager to marry at such young age?”

It is known that few media houses have been publishing stories about the imminent clash of Baahubali part 2 and Robot sequel. As the two films are being made with a huge budget, trade started worrying about the box office clash.

However, Rana said that there is no scope for the two films to clash as so much is at stake, and no filmmaker dares to pit two of the most awaited movies against each other.

While the released date of ‘Baahubali’ has already been announced as April 14, 2017, ‘2.o’ makers have not yet decided about film’s release date. Most probably, the Shankar directorial will hit screens for Diwali 2017.

Tollywood hunk Rana Daggubati, who is currently busy shooting for the second part of SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster film ‘Baahubali,’, said that he will look bigger than Prabhas in part 2.

In a recent interview, Rana has revealed that the conclusion part will surely meet the huge expectations and make the first part look much smaller in comparison.Rana promised that the visuals, dialogues, drama and the war sequences in part 2 would be more arresting than the first part. He added that he is training rigorously to look as menacing as possible.

The climax shoot is currently progressing at specially erected sets at RFC in Hyderabad. The much-expected war episode is being canned. The filming is expected to be finished by the end of October. An extensive post production work will follow for six months, and the film will release as planned on April 14, 2017.

The film Baahubali has been going over the places now. The film unit is happy for the recent media interaction that has happened with the Chinese journalists. The lead cast and crew present at the press conference and they really made the Baahubali unit surprised. Bhallaladeva, Rana Daggubati was in awe of these Tamil film journalists. “All the journalists who have attended the press conference have asked questions in a very disciplined and organized way, and there were no repeated questions at all, but regional media make us feel bored with the repeated questions,” said Rana. Macho hero, Rana Daggubati has finally opened up on the role of Bhallaladeva’s wife in Baahubali: The Conclusion, the sequel to Baahubali: The Beginning. He revealed that Bhallaladeva had time to romance only his throne but not with his wife. It was recently rumored that Shriya Saran had replaced Lavanya Tripathi as Ballaladeva’s wife in the franchise. But both actresses were surprised by these rumors and said nobody from the Baahubali team had approached them for any role in the sequel.

Ever since they clarified on the issue, the question on everyone’s mind is Will Bhallaladeva have a wife at all in the sequel? However, now Rana Daggubati denies the role of his wife. When quizzed about his wife in Baahubali 2, Rana said, “No kidding! Bhallaladeva has time only to romance the throne. And moreover, if there is a new addition, it would be announced. What’s there to hide?” Rana further said, “I obviously can’t divulge much. But one thing is for sure… You’ll see me in an avatar which is meaner and villainous than in Bahubali — The Beginning. You have to watch it to understand what I mean”.

Baahubali set in the kingdom of Mahishmati ended with the murder of Baahubali and Bhallaladeva taking over the throne. The second part will unravel this murder mystery, and it will show how Shivudu takes revenge on Bhallaladeva. Rana Daggubati will appear in a more villainous look in Baahubali 2.

Rana Daggubati is now reportedly busy with the shooting of the Hindi and Telugu bilingual movie Ghazi, which features him as an executive naval officer of the Indian Submarine S21. He is expected to join soon the team of Baahubali, which is currently being shot in Hyderabad.​
