Rajasekhar is playing an NIA commando in the flick. The film is said to be an action thriller, and it is directed by Praveen Sattaru. Bollywood actress Pooja Kumar is playing a crucial role in the movie. Sunny Leone will be seen in a special item song in the flick.

Story

Jogendra (Rana Daggubati) is a money lender who is living with his wife Radha (Kajal Aggarwal). Due to clash, he enters into politics and starts his political life from a Sarpanch post. He becomes a minister in a very short time with his mind games and aims to become chief minister. He then loses all his money, post and leaves politics and he also is given death by hanging judgement in Ananthapur prison. What are the events that led him go into politics? How did he rise and fall in politics? Why is he given judgement of death by hanging? This questions form rest of the story.

Cast and Performance

Rana Daggubati as Jogendra is terrific. He has shown some variations between the political scenes and love scenes between him and Kajal Aggarwal. This character can be termed as just a Rana thing and we cannot imagine anyone other than him for his macho avatar and superb acting. Kajal Aggarwal as Radha is superb. Her performance for the character and her character in the movie can be termed as one of the best in her career. She also looks gorgeous and complemented Rana well in the love scenes. Thanikella Bharani did good job for his role. Catherine Tresa as tv reporter Devika Rani is good. Navdeep has done a fine job in his role. All other actors did fine work for their given roles.

Writing Department

Story of this Nene Raju Nene Manthri written by Teja is good. Screenplay is good in the beginning and lost its track in the second half. Dialogues penned by Lakshmi Bhupal are superb.

Technical Departments

Nene Raju Nene Manthri movie songs composed by Anup Rubens are superb and he has done fantastic work. This album is far more superior than any of his previous works in any way compared. He has also given excellent background score which helped and enhanced the basic emotion of the movie. The film cinematography by Venkat C Dileep is good. Editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is okay and it could have been much better during second half.

Action sequences are made well. Production values are okay.

When the teaser of the movie is released, everyone came into a conclusion that Teja is making a good movie with Rana Daggubati and after the release of the trailer it became, Teja made a blockbuster with Rana and everyone thought that it is a perfect comeback for him. When we question about his attempt in reaching expectations he did a pretty average job. The first half of the movie has very racy screenplay which doesn’t give any chance for audience to relax with comedy sequences at places. After the nice and racy first half, second half comes as a disappointment where the emotional scenes becomes the speed breakers. Bad screenplay and imperfect editing play the spoilsport and it tests the patience of the audience. Except for some political scenes, nice background score and clap worthy dialogues by Lakshmi Bhoopal, there is nothing much to talk about in second half. To sum up, Nene Raju Nene Manthri is a disappointment for the buzz it carried and expectations it had.

Venkatesh has been one hero in Telugu Cinema, who is ready to experiment with his stories whenever possible. He never cared for his image, and he proved time and again that he will act in multistarrers if he likes the script.

He worked with Pawan Kalyan in Gopala Gopala and Mahesh Babu in Seethamma Vakitlo Srimalle Chettu. He also did Masala with Ram Pothineni.
