It is already known that Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya are working together for the first time, for the multistarrer film Venky Mama. This movie is being directed by Bobby and the makers have successfully done the first schedule in the surroundings of Rajahmundry.

During the launch, it was stated that the film will be produced jointly by Suresh Babu, TG Vishwa Prasad and Kona Venkat. But in the first look poster that has been released yesterday, we didn’t see any name of Kona Venkat. This proves that the writer has moved out of the project.

We still don’t know what is the reason for his exit though. The film features Payal Rajput and Raashi Khanna in the female lead roles. The makers are planning to release it during the Dussera festive season in October.

Sreenu Vaitla is the star director in the film industry who lost his success streak with back to back flops. It’s been a while that he scored a genuine hit in the industry and he is still struggling to gain one hit. With Aagadu, Bruce Lee, Mister, and AAA, the director disappointed the audiences hugely and he needs to come up with something fresh.

If the buzz is believed to be true, Vaitla is all set to reunite with his long-time friends Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan. After Dookudu, differences erupted between them and things did not work well as per the expectations. Hence, they parted ways. Though they worked for Bruce Lee, it did not turn out to be an impressive collaboration.

The yet to be titled film is directed by Hemanth Madhukar. Silence is the title in consideration for the project. The regular shoot of the film begins next month in the USA.

After accusing Sekhar Kammula, singer Sreeram Chandra, Viva Harsha, Suresh Babu’s son Abhiram Daggubati, Sri Reddy has now made fresh allegations against Popular script Writer Kona Venkat.

Yesterday, she leaked the private photographs with star producer Suresh Babu’s son Abhiram Daggubati and alleged that he cheated her. She further said that Abhiram f*c**d her badly in a studio. Now, she released the screenshots of Kona Venkat.

In this whattsapp chat, Kona Venkat is seen having a sweet talk with Sri Reddy commenting on her weight in the night.​ Sri Reddy also claimed that Kona Venkat had asked her to meet at a guest house and promised to introduce her to VV Vinayak. She said that Kona Venkat sexually exploited her back side of burial ground.

However, responding to Sri Reddy’s tweet, Kona Venkat said that he would take legal action on her for making baseless allegations against him. He made these comments on his Twitter and tweeted that government should make an inquiry into this whole episode so that truth would come out.

He tweets, “I’m shocked with some allegations made by one actress against some film personalities including me.. I demand the government to conduct through police investigation in these allegations and punish whoever are guilty.. Truth must prevail. legal action follows!!” He also further said he always encouraged Telugu talent and her allegation that Telugu filmmakers are not giving chances to local girls due to their dark complexion is not true.

“It’s really pity that film industry and film personalities have become soft target to many people who are trying to gain cheap publicity… I definitely support taking Telugu artists in our films.. In Geethanjali u find only Telugu artists. But this is unacceptable. I condemn it,” he further tweeted.

Star writer Kona Venkat is very much busy working on multiple projects. He is one of the active persons on the social media who encouraged new talent and praises other films. Recently, he has come up with an interesting request to Telangana IT minister KTR and asked the minister to eradicate piracy to save the film industry.

Kona Venkat has posted a screenshot of the website that has all the latest films and wrote, ” @KTRTRS .. we request ur immediate intervention in taking severe action against this particular website called “movierulz” which is a major threat to TFI.. Please instruct concerned authorities to lock these people up for good and save us. Here’s is the evidence sir.”

Mahesh Kathi has been busy interacting with several media houses about the mental abuse he is facing from Pawan Kalyan fans. Kona Venkat, the other day posted something against Mahesh to which Kathi also tweeted a counter. After Kathi Mahesh’s press meet, Kona Venkat once again tweeted requesting Kathi Mahesh to stay silent until 15th of this month.

Kona Venkat’s tweet reveals that he is planning something to bring out a compromise between Kathi and Pawan Kalyan fans.

The film activist Mahesh Kathi is not restricting himself from criticising Pawan Kalyan. Every day, he is tweeting something or the other which is an oppose to the actor cum politician. A lot of his fans are abusing Kathi but he is still continuing making comments.

Be warned!” and added, “It is common that a Joker is supporting another. Maintaining silence is a clever person’s weapon but some people are unnecessarily barking and making Pawan feel embarrassed.”

The Telugu version has now been titled as Abhinetri. Interestingly, it’s the first time in her career that Tamannaah has acted in a thriller.

Kona Venkat has this habit of tilting his films after few classics in Telugu Cinema. ‘Geethanjali’ that starred Anjali in the lead role was titled after Maniratnam’s 1989 romantic film ‘Geethanjali’ that starred Nagarjuna and Girija in the lead roles.

His recent release ‘Shankarabharanam’ that starred Nikhil and Nanditha is titled after 1979 musical hit ‘Sankarabharanam’ that was directed by Kasinathuni Viswanath.

Interestingly these two films that have classic titles have a completely different content from the originals. Now with Kona eyeing on Patala Bhairavi, shall see what kind of a story is revolving in his mind.

Top director Srinu Vaitla is heard to have filed a police case against star writer Kona Venkat. However, the exact details of his complaint are not revealed yet. Another buzz is that Sreenu Vaitla filed a complaint on Kona in the Film Chamber and also in the directors’ Association.

After working together for over a decade, Vaitla and Kona parted ways after ‘Baadshah’. After the failure of Mahesh Babu’s Aagadu, Ram Charan brought this combination back for his ’Bruce Lee’. After the failure of this film, Kona Venkat commented that Vaitla did not use many of his given scenes.

It may be recalled that Vaitla has been going through the personal and professional turmoil of late. Few days ago, his wife lodged a domestic violence case against him.

Tollywood top story writer Kona Venkat has decided to pen down a real story that has been murmuring in his mind since many days. This film will be based on the Hyderabad drug Mafia.

Kona, who is eagerly waiting for his next release ‘Shankarabharanam,’ has given a hint about his next that will be based on the drug racket issue. Regarding this, Kona has done enough ground work and took necessary references to form a complete story.

Addition to this he has consulted few top Hyderabad Police Officers and took few suggestions from them. This film is said to be titled as “Powder” and will begin its regular shooting from 2016. Reliance Entertainment will be producing this film.

Kona’s ‘Sankarabharanam’ is releasing tomorrow. He has written the story, dialogues and is acting as a presenter for this film. Nikhil, Nanditha and Anjali are playing the lead roles in ‘Sankarabharaanam.’

One of Tollywood’s well known writers Kona Venkat is known to be sharing good rapport with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. After working on Pawan’s ‘Balu’, their relationship grew stronger.

While speaking about his role as a writer and presenter for some crazy films in Tollywood, Kona denies that he isn’t taking control over a section of Industry. “To take control one should have content. I am not controlling someone or anyone. I am controlling myself and revolving around the industry” said Venkat.

Speaking of the bad run of Bruce Lee, “Bruce Lee turned out to become an average flick. Few scenes that I have written weren’t included in the film. Maybe the director (Sreenu Vaitla) didn’t like it. At the end of the day, it’s his call.”

In the past, at the time of “Dookudu” the relation between Sreenu Vaitla and Kona Venkat got worsened. Although Kona wrote “Baadshah” dialogues, it was just because of Jr.NTR’s request. Once again these two worked together of “Bruce Lee” on the suggestion of Chiranjeevi. Speaking about his present relation with Sreenu Vaitla, Kona commented that “The relation between us is in a lost world. Can’t say whether it will come back or will vanish forever.”

Speaking about his success in the industry, Venkat said that “No one is running after me. They are simply running behind my success. If Kona is not giving the success, they don’t bother you.”

He further clarified on his directorial path “If I become a director I will direct one film a year. If I stay as a writer, I can easily manage five to seven films a year. By doing so, I will earn more money than directing a film. I prefer staying as a writer.”

Further speaking, he who is the writer for “Akhil” said that Akhil has gained huge craze before the release of his debut film, his stardom reminds Kona of Hrithik’s stardom.

Hrithik Roshan, who debuted with Kahona Pyaar Hai, gained huge popularity overnight. Kona is also hoping that Akhil too will become such a huge star.
