Here is the beauty queens of Tollywood posed for a poster for a historical 3D film Rudharmadevi. Anushka playing the main lead role while Nithya Menon and Catherine playing the other lead roles in the film. Guna Sekhar is the director and also producer for the film. Music maestro Ilayaraja scored the music.

Beauty queen Anushka Shetty gave an amazing gift to Trisha Krishnan. As per the talk, Anushka has gifted a top level character offer to Trisha. Gautham Menon quoted Anushka as the most sweetest heroine. He strengthened this statement saying that Anushka has no ego.

He stated that he designed two roles, one to Anushka and the other to Trisha. It seems that Anushka’s role was quite interesting and Trisha too felt the same after narrating the roles. It seems that Trisha asked Gautham Menon to give her Anushka’s role.

To this, Gautham asked Anushka about replacement and it seems that Anushka without any thought asked Gautham to give that role to Trisha. Speaking on this, Gautham mentioned that Anushka is the most sweetest girl he has ever seen in the film industry.

The Gautham Menon – Ajithkumar flick has been known as Thala 55 since day one, because it is the superstar’s 55th film, simply put, and the fans just loved it. But they also have been waiting for the real title of the flick to be revealed, along with the first look of the film, for quite some time now.

Initially, it was reported that the announcements regarding all of this will be made by Gautham Menon in the first week of August and the fans waited with bated breath. But the first week has come and gone and still no news surfaced and Gautham remains as tight lipped as ever.

What’s the reason for the delay then?

Well it seems there is an actual ‘faith’ based reason for the delay. Right now it is the Aadi season, and generally in Kollywood it is customary it seems that decisions regarding the naming of the film and such not be made or even planned during this time.

Thala 55 producer AM Ratnam too seems to be a believer in this sentiment and so he has chosen to delay the planning and announcement of such things till the end of Aadi.

And when does this season end? Well, luckily for the fans, the Aadi season ends on August 16th!

So in roughly two days time, there will be some development on this front and soon the fans will get what they want.

It was rumoured a few weeks ago that the name of the flick could be Sathya, given the character played by Ajith in the movie is Sathyadev. But that seems unlikely now… or is it?

Guess we will simply have to wait some more.

Thala 55 stars Ajith in the lead, and Trisha Krishnan and Anushka Shetty in the female leads. The supporting cast includes Arun Vijay, Thalaivasal Vijay, Baby Anikha Surendran and others.

For a hero, the scope in a flick is limited. He goes for fights, romance and sentimental scenes. But for heroines, the scope to prove themselves is too high. Once they take bold step like the one which Anushka took in “Vedam” or the one which Vidya Balan took in “Dirty Picture”, the scenario will be different.

They will get immense fame all over the nation and they will even turn into the best and proven actresses in the arena. Previously, most experienced actresses used to go for the challenging prostitute roles, but now, young heroines are turning into prostitutes in the flicks in early stage of their career.

It is a noted point that Anushka’s career took huge turn soon after her prostitute avatar in “Vedam”. Now, young heroines are planning to kick start their career with the prostitute roles. This is what the speculation was recently among the industry watchers and gossipmongers, as the actress did not show up for the audio launch of Arya’s maiden production venture starring his brother Sathya, Amara Kaaviyam.

Anushka’s absence at the ceremony despite an invitation extended by Arya was the source of much of the eyebrow raising. It was then surmised that perhaps the duo had a falling out during the making of Selvaraghavan’s Irandam Ulagam.

It is worth mentioning that such rumours had also spread earlier regarding Arya and Nayantara for a brief period before the actor slammed them down.

So what about this time? Surely, with an invitation extended to such an important affair, Anushka must have had some reason not to be present!

Well, apparently, according to Arya himself, she did indeed.

“I had invited not just Anushka but Tapsee as well to attend the event. They could not make it as Anushka was, at the time, shooting for SS Rajamouli’s Bahubali in Hyderabad and Tapsee was busy with a Hindi film of her own.” Arya clarified in a recent interview he did.

So clearly, no animosity exists between the two actors.

But boy, with all these rumours about him falling out with his co stars, maybe Arya has some bad mojo going on around him. This is strange, as he is also one of the younger stars much praised by his peers for his warm-hearted nature.

Let’s hope the media leaves the poor star alone for the foreseeable future at least.

Arya is currently filming for the film Purampokku directed by SP Jananathan. He stars alongside Vijay Sethupathi, Shaam and Karthika Nair in this one. His other upcoming film is Meagamann, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, which is in post production now.

Thala 55 shooting is currently going on in and around Chennai, and the first portions with Anushka are done. So the actress has actually taken this time to join the sets of Rajnikanth’s Lingaa, in which too, she is playing a female lead role.

The Gautham Menon – Ajith movie, however, will continue with their production work, by canning the scenes with Trisha and Ajith. It is for this part of the story that Ajith has dyed his hair black, and is sporting a handlebar moustache. Baby Anikha Surendran, who is playing the onscreen daughter of Ajith and Trisha, has finished her portions as well.

So now, it will be only when this schedule of filming moves on from Trisha, and Anushka gets back to the sets that Ajith will revert to his old, natural grey haired look.

So you see, it is indeed up to Anushka when Thala turns grey again!

Ajith’s character in the flick is named Sathyadev and there were some speculations yesterday that the name of the movie could be Sathya. But if it is true or not will only be confirmed by Gautham Menon sometime this week.

Harris Jayaraj is the man composing the tunes for this flick and Dan Macarthur is wielding the camera.

The film has been touted as a mass entertainer of an action thriller and is currently aiming for a Diwali release. This is thrilling news for the fans, as once again after Jilla and Veeram, this means a new box office war between Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay’s Kaththi and Thala 55.

Tamanna and Anushka, the beauties who are known for Tollywood audience as glam dolls, are now coming under one roof. “Bahubali” is going to create the competition between the two heroines. Prabhas will romance both the heroines in this flick.

It seems that Prabhas will act in dual role. Tamanna and Anushka were the heroines for the two roles. Hence, there may not be a chance for both the actresses to act in parallel with Prabhas. Even then, film makers are planning series of songs with these 2 ladies along with Prabhas.

In this scenario, “Who will look better beside Prabhas, that too in Queen’s role?” turned out to be the point. For sure, Tamanna’s skin tone dominates Anushka. But, there are chances for Anushka to cover up Tamanna with her expressions.

Finally some development in the case of the missing ornaments from the Rani Rudramma Devi movie sets! Sources say the police have arrested three people in connection with the theft of the gold jewels which were appraised at around Rs 45 lacs.

Yes, according to reports, the police were in the process of questioning over 60 members of the film unit and others related connected with the incident, and have as of today, arrested a van driver, an employee of the jewel shop and another person on suspicion.

It is unclear at this point, if the van driver and the jewel shop employee are the same two people who were involved in the news with regard to the missing ornaments for the past few days.

Let us recap on what happened, shall we?

The ornaments were a necessary part of the movie, though sources say it was more for Catherine, another actress than Anushka who is playing the lead in the movie.

To lend authenticity to the movie, these high value ornaments were flown in from Chennai from the jewellery owned by Anjaneya Shetty and Sons, and were returned after each schedule of filming.

Six schedules passed without incident and it was on the seventh schedule that Ravi Subramaniam, an employee of Anjaneya Shetty’s jewellery, brought in the jewels for filming and they went missing during the shoot from the van in which they were kept. Apparently, the driver went to have lunch and returned to find the plastic boxes which held the jewels empty.

The producers immediately filed a complaint at the Gachibowli police station, and the investigation has been ongoing… till now, that is.

We’ll have to wait and see if the jewels are recovered and if the police have, in fact, nabbed the real culprits. The days to come will unravel the mystery behind this crime that stunned the Tollywood industry and its fans.

“Rudrama Devi” ornaments missing case is still in the same position. The mystery on this missing case is still on progress and the curiosity is on peaks in the spectators to know the real story behind this aspect. Here is the missing story as per the reports from the film unit members.

Chennai’s Anjaneya Setti and Sons were sponsoring the ornaments to this flick. Whenever film unit asks for the ornaments, this company will send it through flight to the shooting location. Soon after the shooting, these ornaments will be returned back to the company with utmost care. Six schedules passed in the similar fashion and the seventh schedule needed the ornaments.

Hence, Ravi Subramanyam who works for Anjaneya Setti group gave the ornaments to the film unit on 19th of this month. These ornaments were packed in plastic boxes and were kept in the makeup van. After lunch break, when the film unit opened the boxes, they were found empty. Film unit members and the company executives rushed to the nearest Police Station and gave complaint. There was no clue, how these ornaments went out of scope. Hope, this mystery comes to an end in near future.

SS Rajamouli’s prestigious project Baahubali in the headlines from the day one of starting the film and recently everyone shocked with the stunning budget for the movie. As per the reports the movie budget reaches to RS 175 crores, which is a huge budget for any Telugu movie. Now we heard another shocking news on Baahubali release, the makers are planning to release the film in 36 languages.

The shooting of the film is currently under progress and the first half of the movie will be released on April 17th, 2015. Prabhas, Anushka and Rana playing the main lead roles while another beautiful actress Tamanna is also playing an important role in the movie.

The movie is being produced by Arka Media banner and MM Keeravani is composing the music.

So, huge expectations on Baahubali from the makers to the audience.

Don’t panic, we are not talking about the actress’s skills here – no. We are merely reporting that Gautham Menon doesn’t know yet if he is to let Anushka dub her own voice for the character in the end.

The starlet is one of many in Kollywood known for not dubbing for her movies. This is a problem many actresses face because of their lack of fluency in Tamil or any other south Indian language for that matter. It is a tragic but true fact that some of the reigning actresses in the south in the past and even now aren’t a 100 percent sure about the language aspect. All one can say is thank god for lip syncing!

But then there are also others with.. shall we say a less than appealing voice to begin with, no matter what the language. Well, in the end, it doesn’t matter as long as their on screen skills and talent makes up for everything else, yeah?

More news on the Thala 55 front is that for the first time in years, both Gautham and Ajith are working back to back schedules. The Chennai schedule of the flick has begun filming just two days after the cast and crew have returned from the Malaysian schedule.

Ajith usually works a long stretch and takes a break before returning to the project, while Gautham is known for his more ‘on the spot’ improvisational working method. This kind of dedicated overtime working is new for both and the crew are more than surprised by this to say the least.

Trisha, who is the other leading lady in the flick, is supposed to join the sets in the Chennai schedule of filming.
