Veteran actor Jagapathi Babu’s career took a huge turn after the release of Legend. The movie showcased the other side of Jagapathi Babu and his performance has been widely lauded. The actor has been thriving for interesting roles and he has been packed with back to back films.

He is said to have played a crucial role in Boyapati Sreenu’s upcoming movie Jaya Janaki Nayaka which is set for August 11th release. During the promotions of the movie, the actor revealed many interesting updates about his upcoming movies.

He said “I am not concerned about the director or the actor in which I am assigned a role. I am focussed on how important role I am given. Yes, soon I am going to make my debut in Bollywood and will announce about the details of the movie officially. I have a very interesting role to play in Akhil’s movie which will be remembered for a long time. I am currently shooting for Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam movies”.

The shooting of Akhil and director Vikram Kumar has begun. Vikram Kumar of ‘Ishq’, ‘Manam’ and ’24’ fame is said to be filming some high action stunts for the movie. Interestingly, he has roped in a top Hollywood action choreographer for the stunts. The stunt master who worked for super hit Hollywood franchise movie “Transporter” has been brought in to do the work for this movie.

Recently, Prabhas and Sujith have hired Hollywood fight master Kenny Bates of ‘Transformer” fame for their next movie. Now Vikram Kumar is bringing in another action director from Hollywood for his film with Akhil.

The film will begin its regular shortly. Annapurna Studios is producing it. It would be Akhil’s second film as lead hero after his debut ‘Akhil’ that released in 2015. However, with this film Akhil will create a record for himself same as his father.

Young hero Akkineni Akhil has recently engaged with his love of life Shriya Bhupal. Now he has completely jumped into the mood of Cinema to start his work for his next.

Akhil saw a big failure in very early stage of his career with film ‘Akhil’. So he took time and selected Kalyan Krishna of ‘Soggade Chinninayana’ fame for a rural love story. But Nagarjuna is so determined to launch his son with a hit. At the same time, classy director Vikram K Kumar has narrated a refreshing urban love story for Akhil. Highly impressed by Vikram’s line, Nagarjuna as decided to relaunch his son with Vikram who gave Akkineni family, a memorable gift like ‘Manam’. This movie will be officially started on 14th of this month for Sankranthi. Incidentally, it was Vikram who introduced Akhil with a cameo in ‘Manam’.

As usual, this movie will be bankrolled by Nagarjuna under ‘Annapurna Studios’ banner. A new beauty from Tamil industry is roped as the female lead. The regular shoot will be commenced from February.

One of the top directors of Telugu cinema, VV Vinayak, has last directed Akkineni Akhil’s launch pad ‘Akhil’.

The Nithin production venture ‘Akhil’ ended as the biggest disaster of last year and provided heavy losses to Nithin and all the distributors involved. Vinayak was paid a huge amount as remuneration for the film. When he was in a situation to refund Rs 5 crores from his remuneration, he sold his house for Rs 20 crore to pay the amount back.

As per sources, Vinayak is now residing at a star comedian’s house for rent. It is also heard that, he accepted to direct a film starring Nithin after he wraps up Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 150th film. Vinayak will be doing Nithin’s film for zero pay to payback Akhil loss.

However, some denied this and said that Vinayak is staying at a different house inky due to vaastu issues.

Distributors who spent hefty money over ‘Akhil’ are now all left in huge losses. The trouncing of Akhil made many distributors in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and overseas in complete losses. To say in single word ‘Washout’ is the current situation of buyers all across.

They who bought the film relying upon Nagarjuna’s stardom, hyper over Akhil and Nithin productions house are now turning towards Nithin asking to compensate their losses.

Nithin and his father Sudhakar Reddy spent a bomb on the making of ‘Akhil.’ It is said to be that almost 40-45 CR was spent over the film without having a compromising leg. Now, with the negative result that the film left, it would take years for Nithin and Sudhakar Reddy to recover.

Knowing about the distributor’s pressure over Nithin and his family, called upon them and spoke regarding this issue. After listening to their suffering, Nagarjuna assured them that he will compensate them within a short period.

Nagarjuna further ordered them not to disturb them anymore, and if they want to speak something, it is with him to be speaking than Nithin or his family.

This gesture of Nagarjuna towards Nithin shall be lauded as part of saving the producer who helped in the launching of his son.

I rather wonder if you judge after watching my first film, I wouldn’t be speaking with you” said Nag with a laugh.
