We are already aware of the fact that star hero Suriya is doing a film called Soorarai Pottru under the direction of Sudha Kongara of Guru fame. The shoot of this film is going at a rapid pace and the makers are planning to release it by the end of this year itself. Many pan-Indian actors are being roped in for this movie.

Already, Hindi actor Jackie Shroff and Telugu star hero Mohan Babu signed up for pivotal roles of the movie. Now, we hear that another Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal will be playing an important role in Soorarai Pottru. It seems that he had taken part in the shoot already and has also wrapped up his part.

This will mark the debut of Paresh Rawal in Tamil film industry. Soorarai Pottru is based on the life of Deccan Airways chief Captain GR Gopinath. Aparna Balamurali is the female lead of this movie. GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music for it.
