South Indian star hero Suriya has reportedly paused the shooting of his current production venture ‘Singham 3’ so that he can allot time for the promotions of his upcoming release ‘24’.

The unit of ‘S3’ has recently returned to Chennai after finishing a small schedule in Romania. Director Hari has now planned a major schedule in Malaysia but the shooting will only commence after considerable break. Suriya applied these breaks to shooting as he has decided to get busy with the promotions of ‘24’.

Directed by Vikram Kumar of ‘Manam’ fame, ‘24’ has Samantha and NityaMenen playing leading ladies of Suriya. The film is said to be a science fiction thriller and has music by maestro AR Rahman. The released teaser has already received a rousing response. Audio is expected on March 28 and film might release on April 29.

After the release of Baahubali – The Conclusion, SS Rajamouli will reportedly direct another next magnum opus a whopping Rs 1,000 crore project which has tentatively been titled Garuda.

If the latest reports are to be believed, the South Star Suriya will also be part of the much awaited project, which will be based on the epic Mahabharata.

It has been reported that Surya will collaborate with the hit filmmaker, who had earlier expressed his desire to work with the superstar during the promotional events of Baahubali. It is believed that Surya has also given a positive nod to do a pivotal role in the film.

Meanwhile, there are also reports that Young Tiger Jr NTR will be doing a lead role in the film.

However, until and unless the actors or the director make it official, the news about the cast of Garuda can be treated just as a rumour. Garuda is expected to go on floors only in 2017, as Rajamouli has to complete the sequel of Baahubali.

Meanwhile, Suriya is awaiting the release of his much awaited film 24, which is scheduled to hit the screens in May and Jr NTR will be seen next in Janatha Garage, which is expected to release on 12 August.

Director Brahma, who won National Film Award for Best Director with his debut film ‘Kutram Kadidhal,’, is gearing up to work with star couple Surya and Jyothika.

After the success of ‘KutramKadidhal’, Brahma has narrated an interesting story to Jyothika and got her nod. After making her comeback to the screen after a long time with critically acclaimed and commercially successful film ’36 Vayadhinile’, Jyothika has been looking for an interesting subject to start her next film, and Brahma’s script impressed her very much.

Jyothika’s husband and Tamil superstar Suriya will produce this film under his 2D Entertainments banner. If time permits, Suriya might play a cameo as well in this production venture starring Jyothika in a lead role. More details of this film will be announced in due time.

The official news about the teaser release of Suriya’s much awaited film ’24’ is out now.

The teaser of the Vikram Kumar directorial Sci-fi entertainer will be released at 6 PM on 4th March. Suriya himself tweeted and informed this news.

Meanwhile, the teaser was screened to a select group of audiences, who are now raving about visuals, CG work and scintillating background music of AR Rahman. As per reports, Suriya will appear in as many as five get ups in the teaser itself. One can only imagine what he will do in the entire film.

’24’ is produced by Suriya under 2D Entertainments banner. Beautiful actresses Samantha and Nithya Menen played female leads. As per sources, the film will hit screens on 16th April. The release date can be pushed back in the wake of upcoming assembly polls in Tamil Nadu.

Tamil star hero Suriya, who has good craze in the two Telugu states, is gearing up to release his ‘Memu’ on 18th March.

Tamil version of ‘Memu’, titled ‘Pasanga 2′ was released on 24th December in Tamil Nadu and had a successful run. Apart from Suriya, Amala Paul and Bindhu Madhavi played crucial roles in this children’s film. Pandiraj directed this moving drama, which was a hit with family audiences.

The film is now being released in Telugu by Suriya himself on 2D Entertainment Banner.Music is composed by Arrol Corelli and Balasubramanyam is the cinematographer. J Madhusudan Reddy of Sai Manikanta Creations Banner is the producer of Telugu version.

Suriya will next be seen in Vikram Kumar directorial film ‘24’. Also starring Samantha, the film is gearing up to release for this summer.

The first look posters of Suriya’s ‘Singam 3’ have been released with the new title. The film is titled S3 with Universal Cop as tag line. It is heard that the title has been changed as per numerology.

Tamil Hero Suriya’s super hit series ‘Singham’ is now getting ready for its third part. This film is titled as ‘Singham 3’ and will once again star Suriya in the role of Duraisingam. Hari will remain as the director and Anushka is also retaining the role of Suriya’s wife.

Though the first two parts of the film saw many repetitive characters, Hari this time chose not to repeat anyone and has opted to cast in others for prominent roles in the third part.

Director Hari, who first thought of casting in the same faces that appeared in first part’s, later though the audience might feel bored and may get confused, so he decided to cast in new faces for the film.

He also felt that since the third part will be a different film while compared to one and two parts, casting new characters will give a fresh look.

‘Singham-3’ will begin its regular shooting from next month. Shruti Hassan has been roped in for the second lead.

Anjaan is slated for release on August 15th.

It has Suriya playing dual roles and the gorgeous Samantah as the female lead. The flick has been touted as a ‘gangster’ film set against the backdrop of the criminal underworld of Mumbai.

It’s being directed by N Lingusamy and also being produced by his home company Thirupathi Brothers. The masterful Santhosh Sivan handles the cinematography and the editing work is being done by Anthony.

Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music of the flick, and it features a song sung by Suriya himself!

The rest of the cast of the film includes Manoj Bajpai, Vidyut Jamwal, Rajpal Yadav and Dalip Tahil.
