Star Tamil hero Suriya thanked cricketer Dhoni and also requested him to have dinner at his home the next time he visits Chennai.

To promote his upcoming biopic ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’, Dhoni has the other day visited Chennai. As his two kids are big fans of Dhoni, Suriya made his wife Jyothika take them to the event of Dhoni, who cordially received the flower bouquet from the two children and spoke to them affectionately. Dhoni said that he likes their father, Suriya.

The ‘Singam’ star has posted the pics of his children with Dhoni on Twitter and thanked him for his kind gesture towards his kids. Suriya also invited Dhoni for dinner. A few days ago, Dhoni had said that after Rajinikanth, he likes Suriya as an actor.

Meanwhile, ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ is slated for worldwide release on September 30.

Said to be an action drama highlighting the father-son relationship, the film is set in the rural backdrop just like the previous films of the director. Tamil actor Rajkiran has been approached to play Suriya’s father in the movie to be produced by KE Gnanavel Raja under Studio Green banner.

The report is that Suriya might act in Muthiah’s direction after finishing Pa Ranjith’s film.

If latest reports in tinsel town are to be believed, Suriya’s action entertainer ‘S3’ might hit screens in the month of August.

It is known that the first two parts of ’Singham‘ series have been stupendous hits. Directed by Hari, the series is known for its racy screenplay, powerful action scenes, and the stellar performance of Suriya as a kind hearted and an angry police officer. The shooting part of third part titled ‘S3’ has been progressing for few months.

Most of the shooting took place in foreign locations. The film is being made under Studio Green banner. Music director Harris Jayaraj is expected to finish his work by July first week so we can expect the audio launch by July end.

Anushka, who was seen the first two parts, will be seen as Suriya’s wife in the third part. Shruti Haasan is an addition to this part.

‘24’ was released simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil on May 6. The out of the box concept and the intelligent screenplay were lapped up by the audiences and made the film a super hit. Tamil star hero Suriya has apologized for not being able to cast his vote as he is abroad shooting for his upcoming action entertainer ‘S3’.

Suriya has earlier obliged the request of Election Commission to participate in the short video to appeal to the people of Tamil Nadu to cast their vote without a miss to achieve 100 percent polling. Suriya then apologized for missing the polling as he was in foreign, shooting for ‘S3’.

Tamil star hero Surya has announced that he will act for free in the film to be produced by Nadigar Sangam to raise funds.

Suriya starrer “Singham 3” shooting was in progress at Edigapalle Village of Madanapally Mandal in Chittoor district. The other night, the shooting of ‘S3’ was completed the late night. On his return journey, Suriya spotted a woman lying on the road after getting severely injured in an accident.

The kind Suriya rushed the woman to a nearby private hospital in Tirupathi in his own car. The woman is out of danger, and she couldn’t thank enough for Suriya’s timely help.

Suriya’s new film ‘24’ is set for a grand release soon. The audio composed by AR Rahman will be launched on 11th April.
