The film Rangasthalam released grandly on 30th of the last month and is successfully running everywhere. Anasuya Bharadwaj played the role called Rangammatha and impressed everyone big time. She is currently the woman of the moment and is at the receiving end of the appreciations.

Rangasthalam assistant costume designer Gauri Naidu has posted a picture on her social media where she captioned it as “Rangammatha Vindhu Bhojanam.” The picture is currently going viral on the social media and we have come to know that Anasuya has given a grand treat for all the assistant directors, few actors and other friends who worked on the project.

Kollywood has missed out on the biggest weekend to start of 2018 summer season. However, Rangasthalam has registered a grand opening in the city. In its first three days, the Ram Charan-Samantha starrer has grossed nearly 70 lakhs.

Grossing 70 lakhs in first three days is not an easy task for a Telugu film in Chennai. In fact, some of the mid-budget Tamil films haven’t achieved the opening weekend box office number of Rangasthalam in Chennai.

The film is doing record business in the Telugu states and USA. In US, Rangasthalam crossed the two million dollar mark and worldwide, the film is nearing the 100cr mark.

Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam has been getting a lot of praise from industry celebs, who have appreciated the raw storytelling of the movie and its great performances. The latest to join this list is Venkatesh.

He took to Facebook to praise the film. Venky posted, “Watched Rangasthalam… Charan as Chittibabu was flawless and perfect. Hatsoff to Sukumar for portraying the characterizations so effectively. Congratulations to Mythri Movie Makers and their entire team.”

On the work front, Venkatesh’s Aata Nade Veta Nade shoot is in progress. Teja is directing the movie while Shriya Sharan is playing the female lead. Anup Rubens composes music for the movie. Suresh Babu is producing the movie.

On the other hand, Venkatesh and Mega Prince Varun Tej’s multi-starrer film is in pre-production stages. The movie will be helmed by Anil Ravipudi.

At the Thank You meet of Rangasthalam, the makers confirmed that the film has successfully touched the Rs 100 crore gross mark.

Naveen, one of the partners of Mythri Movie Makers, said, “Rangasthalam’s box office collections surpassed our expectations. If we expected one crore rupees in a particular territory, distributors say that the film has crossed two crore rupees. We are expecting Rangasthalam to be third highest grosser in the Telugu film industry after Baahubali series. Yes, we happily say that even Chiranjeevi garu’s Khaidi No 150 record would be broken”.

Naveen also revealed that Rangasthalam’s director Sukumar would be directing one more film for Mythri Movie Makers. Naveen heaped praise on Ram Charan, Samantha Akkineni, and Jagapathi Babu.

Veteran actor Mohan Babu is very much happy with the way Rangasthalam is currently doing at the box office. The actor took his Twitter and had appreciated the performance of Ram Charan and praised the entire film unit of Rangasthalam.
