Ram Charan and creative director Sukumar have teamed up for the first time. Touted to be a rustic entertainer which is set in the backdrop of Godavari, the film has Samantha as the female lead.

A few days back, Charan urged fans to reach out Sukumar and pressure him to reveal the film’s title. The requests have finally paid off and the title has been announced. ‘Rangasthalam – 1985’ is the title for this big budget entertainer. This is an interesting title, and it looks like the film is a period drama set in the 80’s.

Mythri Movie Makers is producing the film, and Devi Sri Prasad is composing the tunes. The film is slated to hit the screens for Sankranthi 2018.
