Star actress Deepika Padukone is waiting for the release of her new film Padmavat that is slated for a grand release on 26th if this month. Meanwhile, we have to know that the supreme court has made a decision to not to object the film’s screening in a few states which put a ban on the movie. After this decision has come out now, we have a update that an advocate has filed a counter petition in the supreme court opposing the film’s release.

Supreme court has ignored the PIL that was filled by an advocate and told that the issue does not come under the court. The supreme court made it clear that the state government will take a decision on law and order and the court does not hold any responsibility for the same.

A lot of people have been giving warnings that there will be a problem for law and order if the film releases. The court has advised everyone not to move forward with such incidents and has clearly told not to oppose the film’s release.

Rajput Karni Sena is very angry on censor board chief who has given clearance for the release of the movie. The Karni Sena has been threatening censor chief Pramod Joshi that they will not allow him to enter Rajasthan state.

Padmavathi film has fallen into a big controversy now. The film that is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali was postponed from December 1st. The film’s director has attended the Parliament panel yesterday, and the censor board chief Prasson Joshi was also present. Panel Chairman was Anurag Thakoor, and he fired on the film and its director.

The censor board officials expressed their anger for showing the film to the media before screening to the officials. The director revealed that he has no other choice except that because he has to prove that the film has no controversial stuff. The panel made allegations that Bhansali is trying to cash on emotions and opposed the film.

On the other side, BJP leader LK Advani has extended his support to Bhansali. Advani told that the panel has no need to involve in this issue and said that his support is with the makers.

Amidst a raging row surrounding director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati,’ and a BJP leader announcing a ransom on the head of the film’s female lead Deepika Padukone, veteran actor Kamal Haasan on Monday backed the starlet, saying her freedom should not be denied.

He said he wanted the head of Deepika Padukone saved. Kamal Haasan’s tweet was a response to a shocking comment from a Haryana BJP official on Sunday, announcing a 10-crore bounty on the heads of Deepika, who plays the role of the 13th Century Queen, and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

“I want Ms.Deepika’s head.. saved. Respect it more than her body. Even more her freedom. Do not deny her that,” he said. In a Twitter post, he also said “many communities” had earlier opposed his films, without naming anybody.

“Extremism in any debate is deplorable. Wake up cerebral India.Time to think. We’ve said enough. Listen Ma Bharat,” he further said in the tweet. He also tweeted, “I wantMs.Deepika’s head.. saved. Respect it more than her body.Even more her freedom. Do not deny her that.Many communities have apposed my films.Extremism in any debate is deplorable. Wake up cerebral India.Time to think. We’ve said enough. Listen Ma Bharat.”

Padmavati is starring Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh among others, has run into rough weather with the producers unilaterally deferring the film’s release following stiff resistance from the Rajput community.

Politicians, cutting across party lines, have demanded a ban on the Rs 200-crore film which was slated for release on December 1. The release has already been deferred by its producers. Deepika’s security was beefed up after threats.

A Meerut-based Thakur leader offered Rs 5 crore to anyone who beheads Padmavati director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and actress Deepika Padukone.

Thakur Abhishek Som, national president of Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Yuva Mahasabha said, “Anyone who brings the head of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Deepika Padukone will be rewarded with Rs 5 crore. Rani Ma Padmavati had sacrificed her life with 12,000 other women in mass immolation (Jauhar), and Bhansali has raised a question on her courage by showing her in a bad light in his film. This is unacceptable. Either both of them should leave the country or get ready to be beheaded.”

The Thakur leader’s bizarre announcement came a day after UP principal secretary (home) Arvind Kumar wrote a letter to the Union information and broadcasting ministry that if the film is released in its current version, it may lead to a law and order situation in the civic polls- bound state. Som added that if no one beheads Bhansali and Padukone, he will do it personally.

After the blockbuster success of the blockbuster film ‘Baahubali 2’, no other film has managed to reach its set records. The Hindi dubbed version of Baahubali collected a total of 512 crores, and despite big releases like ‘Raees’ and ‘Tubelight,’ that number is yet to be surpassed.

However, the upcoming highly anticipated movies – Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Padmavati’ and Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ – are expected at-least go near the record.

It is scheduled to hit the screens in December this year along with ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ which is a sequel to 2012 spy thriller ‘Ek Tha Tiger.’

Padmavati is a periodic film that tells the story of Alauddin Khilji, the medieval-era Delhi ruler, who was infatuated with Rajput queen Padmavati. In Padmavati, Deepika plays the titular role of Rani Padmini and Ranveer essays the role of Alauddin Khilji. Shahid will be seen as Rawal Ratan Singh in the period drama. The film is slated to hit the theaters in November this year.

Members of the Karni Sena allegedly attacked filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and vandalized the sets of his upcoming movie Padmavati at Jaigarh Fort in Jaipur. The members accused the makers of the film for ‘distorting history.’

“We have learnt that the filmmakers are portraying the film as a love story between Alauddin Khilji and Padmini, which is a blatant distortion of history. That is why we stopped the shooting and told the makers that we won’t let them continue unless they make changes,” said Narayan Divrala, district president, Karni Sena.

A clash occurred between both the parties and equipment was vandalized. Narayan Divrala added that, “the outfit will further protest if historical facts are distorted in the film. “After getting news of the clash at Jaigarh Fort, a large number of police personnel was deployed at the spot to maintain law and order. As of now, no case has been lodged by any of the parties,” said deputy commissioner of police (north) Anshuman Bhomia.

Meanwhile, the movie, which is being directed by Bhansali stars Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone playing Alauddin Khilji, Rawal Ratan Singh and Rani Padmini.​
