Today is Deepika Padukone’s birthday, and as her fans wish the beautiful actress on her special day, there is a buzz going around that the makers of her long-delayed Padmavati, or rather Padmavati, will announce the new release date of the movie today.
Earlier, there were speculations that the movie might come out on January 26. This was doubtful since there were already two biggies coming out that week in Akshay Kumar’s PadMan and Sidharth Malhotra’s Aiyaary. Now the latest report is that Padmavat might come out on February 9, though there is no official announcement made about the date yet.
Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Padmavati stars Deepika Padukone as Queen Padmini/Padmavati, Shahid Kapoor as Mewar king and Padmini’s husband Raja Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Delhi Sultan Alauddin Khilji who is obsessed with Padmavati.
