After scoring back to back hits with Simmba and Gully Boy, Ranveer Singh is now shooting for his next film ’83. Directed by Kabir Khan, this movie is based on the victorious journey of Indian Cricket Team in the 1983 World Cup. Ranveer is essaying the role of Kapil Dev in the film.
Recently, the shoot of the film has been kickstarted in London. According to the latest grapevine, the climax sequence of the film will be shot in iconic cricket ground, Lord’s Cricket Stadium, which is also known as the Mecca of Cricket. Currently, Lord’s is hosting a few World Cup matches.
The shoot of this climax sequence will happen once the World Cup gets concluded. ’83 also features Saqib Saleem, Jiiva, Sahil Khattar among others in pivotal roles. Deepika Padukone will be essaying a cameo role in it.
