Director Krishna Vamsi, known for creative and intellectual films said that he is still counting on the script of ‘Raithu’ and it will be done only with Balakrishna Nandamuri. It’s the star who has to give the nod.

After a terrible failure of ‘Nakshatram’, he didn’t sign any film as he planning the next one big and to get a break from the streak of flops he has been enduring since a decade. He was supposed to do ‘Raithu’ with Balayya and that should have been his 100th film.

But the film got shelved once Amitabh Bachchan rejected the role he was offered and Balayya lost the interest to carry forward the project. When a fan asked about this during an interactive session on Twitter, he said he still bets on the script of ‘Raithu’ and it has to be Balayya who should give a nod.

Creative director Krishna Vamsi is planning to come up with an interesting film now. He has earlier worked with a lot of heroines but his film Chandamama with Kajal Agarwal has become a big hit. Both the actress and director have now joined hands for the movie titled Chandamama. Now, he wanted to do a film that will make the audience forget his past movies which have become flops.

Krishna Vamsi has earned the title of creative director by making a slew of films that catered to different sections of the society. He made a sterling impression with his debut film ‘Gulabi’ and went on to make classic films like ‘Ninne Pelladatha,’ ‘Chandamama,’ Khadgam, Sindhooram, etc.

In his recent interview, he candidly confessed about his best and worst films. ‘I have made 19 films, and although I liked most of them, Chandamama is the best film I ever made. Danger wasn’t a big hit, but it is also very close to my heart,’ Vamsi said.

‘Mogudu is the worst film of my career. I had to make that film after I got cheated by a person,’ Vamsi added. He, however, didn’t reveal who that person was. Krishna Vamsi also ranked Nani starrer ‘Paisa’ as another worst film he made.

His next release will be ‘Nakshatram’ starring Sundeep Kishan, Regina, Sai Dharam Tej, Pragya Jaiswal, etc.
