Star director Boyapati Sreenu scored a massive flop earlier this year in the form of Vinaya Vidheya Rama. He was supposed to do a film with Balakrishna immediately after VVR. Balayya himself announced this project publicly and added that he will produce it himself.
But, Balayya went into huge losses with his maiden production venture, NTR biopic. On the other side, Boyapati quoted a budget of more than Rs. 50 crores for this film. Ballayya was not ready to invest so much amount and he asked him to cut down the costs. Meanwhile, he signed another film with Tamil director KS Ravikumar.
Thus, Boyapati’s career now came in a fix. The director is ready with the script with suggested changes but he doesn’t have Balayya’s dates. It was reported that the Simha director will do another movie in the meantime with a young hero, but no news came out regarding that project. Let’s see if he gives any update about his future projects anytime soon
