On Saturday, actor and Hindupur TDP MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna’s family members had to face the heat of IT officials. Reportedly, when Balayya’s wife Vasundhara and some other family members landed at Renigunta airport, they were surrounded by IT sleuths and asked them to cooperate for search as they got information that the family was carrying high amounts of old currency.

IT officials reportedly found Rs 10 lakh worth old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes and when they questioned them why they were carrying such high amount, Vasundhra told them that they were going to drop the cash at Tirupati hundi. As their answers looked convincing, they were left untouched by the IT officials.

But, this act has given a strong indication that no celeb is safe from the IT net.

The audio launch event of Balakrishna Nandamuri’s upcoming historical film Gauthamiputhra Sathakarni is all set to be held on a grand scale on 16th December in Tirupathi.

It is heard that Balayya has invited some special guests for this audio function. AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and one of the top Union Cabinet Ministers (mostly Venkaiah Naidu) and some other ministers are expected to grace this event to make it a politico cinema ceremony. Arrangements are currently being done for the same. Makers are said to be spending nothing less than a crore to organize this function on a record scale.

Interim, the trailer of GPS will be unveiled on 9th December in as many as 100 theaters across the globe. Looking at the promotional strategies of makers of GPS, the film is expected to take a massive opening at the box office when it hits the screen for Sankranthi 2017.

We have recently informed that the makers of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s upcoming film Gautamiputra Satakarni have surprised the industry people by completing the shooting of this historical film within 80 days.

Post-production works are currently in full swing with a target to release the movie for Sankranthi 2017. As per latest reports, makers have locked the audio launch date as 16th December. The details of venue and guest list are expected to be revealed soon. It is heard that Balakrishna is contemplating to rope in the chief ministers of both the Telugu states for this event. It would be a gigantic event if he could succeed in doing so.

Bollywood composer Chiranjan Bhatt, who has scored music for director Krish’s last directorial ‘Kanche,’ has reportedly composed some sterling numbers for this historical film having Hema Malini and Shriya in key roles. It is also heard that film’s theatrical trailer may be released on 9th December. There is no confirmation on this yet.

Critically acclaimed director Krish is known for taking huge gaps between films. It can also be deduced from having a look at his resume, only 6 films in his almost decade long career.

However, Krish seems to have undergone a remarkable transition by the time he took his latest project GPSK on to floors. At a time when Rajamouli has been carving out Baahubali for years, Krish has surprised everyone by wrapping up the shoot of his historical film in a record 79 days, which is one day shy of the earlier stipulated time, 80 days.

Krish is of the opinion that he has managed to finish the shooting in time because of the cooperation of Balakrishna Nandamuri, who performed some of the stunts on his own, even in mid-50s. The historical film is gearing up to have the widest possible release for Sankranthi 2017. Post-production work is currently in progress.
