‘Garuda’, the film that has been in the news for being Rajamouli’s next project after ‘Baahubali’, the 1000 Crore visual extravaganza, will have Tamil Hero Vikram playing a lead role.

The National award winning Vikram, is well known to Telugu audience with films like Shankar directorial ‘Aparichithudu’ and ‘I’ and ‘Siva Puthrudu’. He is playing the lead role in “Garuda” but Rajamouli is not directing the film.

In fact, Vikram is teaming up with Tamil director Thiru for an action entertainer and titled it Garuda. Sexy actress Kajal Aggarwal will be playing the leading lady.

Rajammouli had plans to work on Garuda post-Baahubali 2 . Hence, he just said that ‘Garuda’ script is in very initial stages so he couldn’t talk much. Now, he will have to search for an alternative title.

‘Baahubali: The Beginning,’ the magnum opus directed by ace director Rajamouli has the menacing Kalakeya. Get ready to see his much menacing brother in part 2.

With his Kilikki language and iconic scary look, Kalakeya played a major part in the success of Baahubali. As Kalakeya gets killed by Baahubali part one, Rajamouli felt that audience might miss him in part 2 hence he created the character of his younger brother. Makers finalized macho actor Charandeep to play Kalakeya’s brother role.

Charandeeepwill be playing a full-length character in Part 2, and his clash with Prabhas will be epic, said unit members. Charan Deep revealed that he would start shooting for second part from March. Given his physique, he will be a perfect opponent for Prabhas.

The film unit is going to Kerala soon for the shooting of next schedule for Baahubali 2.

It is known that the principle shooting of ‘Baahubali 2’ began few days back at Ramoji Film City where the unit filmed a crucial sequence on the lead actors Prabhas, Ramya Krishnan, Satyaraj and Nassar.

Now, it is heard that the shooting is going to shift to Kerala. As per sources, Rajamouli and cinematographer Senthil Kumar have already left for Kerala to scout for exotic locales. It may be recalled that Baahubali first part was also shot extensively in Kerala.

The second part will unravel the mystery of why Kattappa killed Baahubali. The film also has Anushka and Tamanna as the leading ladies. The glamorous side of Anushka will be explored in this part while Tamanna will be having a limited role.

Ace director Rajamouli has revealed how it will be if he helms Superstar Rajinikanth in a film.

Addressing a gathering at IIT Chennai, Baahubali maker said that he has no idea what kind of character he creates for the superstar, but he will make sure the audience will not be able to hear the dialogues for ten days after the release of the film. Rajamouli meant that audience would not be able to hear the dialogues due to the continuous whistles, chants and claps from fans.

Considering the image of Rajini and Rajamouli, both commanding mass hysteria, the result will be more or less similar. With Baahubali, the stardom of Rajamouli has reached the international level and the second part of Baahubali is the much-awaited movie of next year.
