It is already a known fact that the grandeur director Gunasekhar planned to carve out a sequel to Rudhramadevi to make it even more interesting. In fact, Gunasekhar made it very clear in the end title card of Rudhramadevi and it gave an idea that Pratapa Rudhrudu is the sequel of Rudramadevi. And the sequel will focus on King Pratap Rudra, the last Kakatiya king who ruled the empire of Kakatiya.

Earlier many star heroes names such as Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun made headlines. But, the makers have not confirmed the lead hero. If the latest reports are to be believed, Gunasekhar is making plans to rope in Young Rebel Star Prabhas to play the titular role in the film.

As Prabhas has huge craze internationally, Gunasekhar is keen to cast Prabhas to cash in his popularity, and it is also learnt that he recently met Krishnam Raju in this regard. If Prabhas accepts to do the role, then the sequel of Rudramadevi would become the talk of the town.

Noted pop singer Daler Mehndi has reportedly sung a song for the second part of the epic film ‘Baahubali’.

As per reports, the song is said to be a high octane one, so makers wanted a high base voice and Daler fitted the bill.

Daler Mehndi, who was in Hyderabad few days back, had tweeted a photo with the Keeravanai and wrote, “Pleasure to meet the #veteran #MusicDirector M.M. Keeravaani aka M.M. Kreem.”

According to latest reports, NTR’s ‘Janatha Garage’ has created a new record in Kerala by beating Baahubali.

After Nannaku Prematho success, NTR is gearing up to start the shooting of his new film Janatha Garage. The action entertainer will go on floors from 22nd of this month. To be directed by Koratala Siva, the film is doing phenomenal pre-release business. The producers are making profits even before the film goes on floors.

As per latest update, Malayalam distribution rights of Janatha Garage are sold for record Rs 4.5 crore, the highest figure for any Telugu movie. Earlier, Baahubali rights were sold for Rs 3.5 crore.

The presence of Malayalam superstar Mohan Lal, Nithya Menen and Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan has played key role in clinching this huge deal.

At GAMA Film Awards function in Dubai, young rebel star Prabhas revealed that Baahubali was initially planned as just one part, but after the script was locked, Rajamouli told the filmmakers Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad that Baahubali will not work commercially.

Prabhas went on explaining that despite Rajamouli’s initial warning, both the producers assured Rajamouli that they will spend any amount of money to back his vision and even told Rajamouli not to worry about the result of the film. That’s how the film happened and the rest is history now.

Ace director Rajamouli has received the summons from the Nampally Court regarding real estate fraud.

Going into the details, A small time filmmaker has approached the court accusing Rajamouli of cheating him by promising to sell his flat in the Photographer’s Colony in Hyderabad back in 2012. He alleged that Rajamouli later sold the flat to another person even after making an agreement with him.

This case has been under progress in the Nampallycourt since 2012. The Court has expressed its displeasure against Rajamouli for skipping the hearings for a long time and now summoned him to appear before the court on 24th of this month.

Banjara Hills police are instructed to escort Rajamouli to court.

Actor Ajay Ghosh, who impressed audiences with the films Prasthanam, Auto Nagar Surya and Jyothi Lakshmi in Telugu, is playing the role of a dreaded dacoit in a much awaited epic film “Baahubali 2”.

As per the reports Ajay plays a role called bandipotu (dacoit) Veeraya, who is part of Anushka Shetty’s kingdom in the movie. The actor has already completed shooting for five days in the Kerala schedule last month. He is going to join in the shooting again in March to film the rest of his scenes. Ajay will be seen in a negative role in the flick.

He is a busy actor in Kollywood than Tollywood. Now he got a chance to work in the direction of Rajamouli that too for India’s biggest motion picture ” Baahubali – The Conclusion”.

After the successful launch with superstar Mahesh Babu starrer ‘Srimanthudu’, Mythri Movies is gearing up to produce ‘Janatha Garage’ starring NTR. Directed by Koratala Siva, who directed ‘Srimanthudu’ for this banner, this film will go on floors from the third week of February.

This new film could be Prabhas’s next project after ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ and Sujeeth’s film to be produced by UV Creations. Koratala Siva, who earlier directed Prabhas in blockbuster ‘Mirchi,’ may be the director of this movie.

The makers of Baahubali 2 landed in trouble as the animal rights activists are seeking severe action against them for using an elephant during the shooting.

Heritage Animal Task Force has recently sent written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and sought action against Baahubali makers for illegally using an elephant for the shooting during the recent schedule in Kerala. They alleged that makers did not take permission from the Animal Welfare Board of India to use an elephant.

Task Force Secretary Venkatachalam stated in his letter that the elephant was forced to stand amid the high beam electric light for four long hours during the shoot for graphic illustration.

Even though the makers of Baahubali claimed that they did not use a real elephant, but it was just created using graphics, Venkatachalam reiterated that more than 50 locals heard the elephant roars during the period of shoot.

There has been news making rounds for a long time that Baahubali will venture into comics to attract kids and family audiences.

To cash in on the craze and success of the film, the makers have today unveiled the first look of ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ comics. The film’s team associated with Graphics India for this venture. Baahubali director SS Rajamouli revealed the first look.

On the eve, Baahubali team also announced that the universe of Baahubali will be extended to video games and animations also apart from comics, a never before seen feat in Tollywood.
