India’s biggest motion picture, SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Baahubali’ has been a puzzle not only for ‘why Kattappa killed Baahubali’ but also in regard the budget of the film. There were several reports that Baahubali’s total budget for two parts was an astonishing 250 crores. The makers neither denied nor accepted this, leaving the space for rumors.
Recently, Rajamouli revealed that the VFX cost for Baahubali was Rs 22 crores. This revelation has revealed the total budget. Here is the full story. The production cost wouldn’t be over 15 crores. Rajamouli’s total package must be around 20 crores, the same with Prabhas, another 20 crores. Remuneration for remaining actors and key technicians will be around 15 crores. Add ten crores for sets, weaponry, and costumes, another 5 Crore for pre and post-production and promotions.
Baahubali’s final budget will not exceed Rs 110 crores for sure. The movie has collected RS 650 crores across the globe.
