Story:

Abhiram (Aadi Sai Kumar) is a person who is born with a problem. He is born with two brains which function differently. At one time, Abhiram looks like a normal person and he immediately changes gear to an altogether different person. What problems did he land in? How did he solve his own problems? What happens in the end? Forms the story of the movie.

Performances:

As the movie is extremely important for his career, Aadi has worked really hard and delivered his career-best performance in this film. He has showcased the variations between Ram and Abhi’s characters very well and justified his role. Mishti Chakraborty looked gorgeous in the film. Her chemistry with Aadi is an absolute delight to watch. Naira Shah is pretty and promising in the film. Rajendra Prasad delivered an energetic performance in the film. All his scenes came out really well and his comedy timing is really funny. Posani Krishna Murali and Prudhvi also justified their roles. The rest of the cast also made their presence felt.

Technical Aspects:

The Production values by the Deepala Arts are good. Cinematographer C Ram Prasad gave beautiful visuals for the film. Music by Sai Kartheek is one of the highlights of this film. Especially his BGM is pleasant. Editing by M R Varma is decent. The entire technical team worked hard to come up with decent output for the movie.

Verdict:

Director Diamond Ratna Babu picked an interesting concept for the film. He has succeeded in making the movie with full-length entertainment. The director has given more importance for commercial elements like love, romance, comedy, and entertainment in his movie and will engage the audience throughout the film. But, the director failed to manage a proper story in the movie. More than a solid story, the director has focused on the entertainment factor and it is a major drawback in the film. The movie starts off on an interesting note and the entire first half is full of romance, comedy, love, and entertainment. The story actually never moves forward and it is a major disappointment. The director could have invested more focus on coming up with proper content. The comedy is good but it failed to take the film to the success path. The lack of a proper story and some boring sequences will be the minus points in the movie. Overall, ‘Burra Katha’ is not a film that entertains throughout the end.

Aadhi Saikumar’s Burrakatha was scheduled to release on this Friday i.e, June 28th but now the release has been pushed to the next day due to the delay in the censor certification. Now, the film will release worldwide on the 29th of June. A minor delay in censor certification is the cause of this postponement

Burra Katha showcases the story of a person who has two functioning brains. Toted to be a full-length comedy entertainer, this film marks the directorial debut of popular writer Diamond Ratnababu. The makers also revealed that the movie has the right amount of emotional and action sequences as well.

A producer in Tollywood filed a forgery case on her associates for illegitimately forging her signs, changing the documents and eventually renaming the title. The victim is Anuradha Uppalati who resides in Film Nagar Road No: 9. She started a movie with Aadi Saikumar and Shraddha Srinath as leads under her banner Satya Narayana Productions.

She titled the movie as Eedu Jodu. At the same time, Gurram Vijayalakshmi joined her as co-producer. Anuradha made a contract with Vijayalakshmi and director Vishwanath Arigela. Suddenly, on the 30th of last month, a poster of the same film was released with the title Jodi and banner Bhavana Creations.

These posters were released to the media by Vijayalaksmi and Vishwanath. Anuradha stated that she lost around Rs. 2 crores with this forgery scam. The police have filed the case on both Vijayalkshmi and Vishwanath and investigating it right now.

Story

Kiran (Aadi Saikumar) is a television serial director and he goes into debts to Jaya prakash Reddy and he has a girl friend (Vaibhavi). Kiran comes to know about a palace his father bought and goes to see it and by conning JP’s son Raghu (Raghu) he gets money to renovate and convert the old palace into a hotel. Kiran, his girl friend, Sarath and his sister are owners and employees respectively. Guests keep coming they die in hotel in someway. Every guest dies there and there isn’t any clue about that. How are they dying? How this is solved forms the rest of the story.

Cast and performance
Aadi Saikumar is good as a tv serial director as well as owner of the hotel. He has improved a lot in terms of expressions in this movie. Vaibhavi as girl friend of Aadi is good in terms of performance and looks classy. Brahmaji as Sarath is so funny and he is at his best. Rashmi Gautham is in another level altogether with her curves and hot looks. Srinivas Avasarala who comes in flashback did a fine job. Shakeela is good in her small role. Raghubabu as RGV is good and all other characters are fine according to their roles.

Writing department

Story of Next Nuvve is simple and routine. Screenplay is so mediocre and doesn’t engage audience every time. Dialogues are okay and writing could have been much better.

Technical Departments

Songs composed by Sai Kartheek are okay and Ala Meda Mida is well composed melody which was sung by Yazin Nizar and lyrics written by Krishna Kanth are nice. This song could easily be the best of the album. His background score is okay and could have been better. Cinematography is good and editing is okay and could be very much better. Art department did a very nice job. Production values are good.

Next Nuvve is the story of guest dying one after another. One after another everyone dies after coming as guest in the movie. This story of deaths is narrated with lot of humorous sequences out of which some don’t work. To engage and entertain audience throughout the movie, it should have a well written gripping screenplay which this Next Nuvve lacks. Prabhakar, who is debuting as director with this movie is faltered in the writing stage itself and he seems to be directed this movie putting some horror comedies in his mind. This movie takes the entire first half and another 10 minutes in second half just to establish and rest has a flashback and a climax which is mainly run with popular punch dialogues. Flashback looks silly as a love story between a guy and a ghost happens. If Prabhakar has concentrated more on script rather than routine comedy scenes, this film would have been something. This movie doesn’t live up to the hype created by the trailer and promotions. To sum up, Next Nuvve is not a winner for the debut of Prabhakar.

Story

Babji (Aadi) is a recovery agent who collects bad debts. He comes across a girl named Kavya (Namitha Pramod) who runs away from her family having danger from them. Kavya’s brother (Abhimanyu Singh) starts chasing him as he helps Kavya at some point of crucial time. He takes Kavya to his native village and introduces her as his friend to his family. After a point of time Kavya start loving Babji. Kavya’s family with another gang attacks Babji’s family knowing this. How Babji solves all the problems forms the rest of the story.

Cast and Performance

Aadi looks decent in his role and has improved a lot with his screen presence and acting capabilities. He is good with his dances and also packs a punch in the action sequences. Namitha Pramod is good and beautiful. Sai kumar is fantastic in his role but has no importance. He is an added advantage in the second half of the movie. Thirty years Prudhvi has become the savior of all the commercial movies now a days like Brahmanandham was. Posani Krishna Murali is nice. Raghu Babu is good. All other actors are good to the extent of their roles.

Story of Chuttalabbai is quite routine and screenplay is predictable. Dialogues are just okay.

Technical Departments

Tracks composed by Thaman SS are okay and his background score is good. He seemed to try hard to lift the movie but failed because of it’s content. Arun Kumar’s cinematography is nice. He showcased village locales very well. Editing by S R Sekhar is just okay. He could have chopped many scenes out. Action sequences are fine.

Verdict

First half of the movie has a quite predictable screenplay and beaten to death scenes which are saved by Thirty years Prudhvi. This half at times gives us the impression that it is the copy or remake of Shahrukh Khan and Deepika starrer “Chennai Express”. This boring first half is saved only by Prudhvi with his funny acts despite of bad and regular writing. With the proceedings, interval block also seems less interesting. Second half marks the introduction of Sai Kumar. Audience feel delighted to watch father and son together on screen but director Veerabhadram made a wasted opportunity because of the poor characterization to Sai Kumar. This second half is a total mess and waste run in the regular way. The only savior of this half is Ali. Director Veerabhadram who scored decent hits with his comedy movies should have stuck to his talent despite of adding unnecessary action blocks. He designed very weak characters which fail to add to the depth of the story. Ali and Prudhvi made this Chuttalabbai partly enjoyable but the story and other things make us reject this movie. To sum up, Chuttalabbai is a formulaic attempt from Aadi and Sai Kumar with Veerabadhram.
