Top director VV Vinayak, who has dealt back to back pressure situations while launching the sons of producer Bellamkonda Suresh and Nagarjuna Akkineni, is heard to be taking up two months vacation to rejuvenate himself.

As both ‘Alludu Seenu’ and ‘Akhil’ turned out to be disappointments, Vinayak is in serious need of new energy to save his career. The star director still has a good name and is the strong contender to helm Megastar Chiranjeevi’s landmark comeback film.

Last week, Vinayak met Chiranjeevi and it is said that they decided to try a full-fledged entertainer rather than a serious subject like ‘Kaththi’ starring Vijay. So Vinayak will start working on the script after the two months vacation.

As far as ‘Akhil – The Power of Jua’ is concerned, and distributors are looking at around 50% losses.

Just one day left for the release of ‘Akhil’, makers have recently released a new trailer of the upcoming action entertainer. This one looks better than the first trailer.

This trailer is the exact Telugu version of the recently released Tamil trailer, which was praised. Akhil is seen romancing Sayesha in this one with his dangerous action scenes in Africa also taking centre stage. The trailer is well cut with all the emotions such as comedy, sentiment and romance blending in the 2 minutes.

Directed by VV Vinayak, the film is produced by Nithiin on a high budget. It is said to be the costliest film a debut hero. Akhil will storm theatres on 11th November.

Akhil is very much excited about the release of the movie, and this is his debut film as a hero. He acted as a child artist in the movie Sisindri and recently he did a cameo in superhit film Manam.

“Akhil will defiantly become a huge star some day. He has all the qualities of a star hero and mostly the fire in him will take him mountains” these were the words said by V.V.Vinayak. Akkineni Akhil starrer ‘AKhil’ is directed by V.V.Vinayak and is produced by Hero Nithin. This film that gained a U/A certificate is making its way for the release of 11th. Speaking about this film, Vinayak said.

“Since the climax scenes lacked quality graphics, so we decided to postpone the movie. We didn’t for any re shoot, those all are just rumours. Now, the final cut is impressive; graphics found their way into the film. Postponing the film was a collective, so Akhil didn’t feel bad about the delay.

I read that this film has some fantasy elements, nothing that sort of. This film has a lot of humor and comedy. Love track will impress. Above all fights and dance will satisfy the audience.

We filled in all the elements that are needed to launch a hero. The story runs a continent of Africa. Tribal in Africa call the sun as jua, that’s why our tagline of the film is Power of Jua. ‘Akhil’ means everywhere in Sanskrit, out hero’s name is also Akhil, so we decided to put his name as the title.

Handling Nagarjuna’s son was a tough job for me. Nagarjuna garu believed in me and handled the job of direction. Once Nagarjuna said that ‘Akhil’ is the only reason that he didn’t do any film with me, and he said that he will launch Akhil under my direction. From then on my responsibility just got increased.

There will be a tension before the film’s release. It is quite common for every producer and director to feel tensed before the release. The tension for ‘Akhil’ is higher, but Nagarjuna garu filled us with confidence and the film shall become a hit for at least his sake.

Akhil has a different presence. Sometimes he looks like his father Nagarjuna, but in a very stylish way. The audience will feel freshness with Akhil. They’ll applaud Akhil for his fights and dance sequences. It is a tough job to act opposite comedian Brahmanandam. His timing cannot be matched, but Akhil somehow did comedy scenes perfectly and will sure make the audience laugh.

We pre-planned the introduction song of Akhil. Akhil too did rehearsals for the song, in the process he didn’t consume food at times and fell by losing his consciousness. He worked very hard for this film.

Though the film was postponed, it didn’t have any negative feel over the film. Akkineni fans got disappointed with the delay of release. But later on they too understood the reason behind it and supported it. Now with the new date being announced they are filled with josh and are waiting for the film’s release.”

Vinayak directorial “Akhil” has Sayesha Saighal as the heroine. This film is being released in over 350 to 400 theatres only in Nizam.

Akhil Akkineni’s debut flick ‘Akhil’ is all set to release on November 11, to cash in on the Diwali weekend. Trade is expecting Akhil to take a huge start at the domestic box office as the film is releasing on a public holiday.

Makers are confident that Akhil will get a flying start at the domestic box office but what about the overseas release? Releasing the film on Wednesday means the special premieres will be screened on Tuesday night itself. So, the movie should sustain for three days to reach the weekend to get the audiences in big numbers.

Akkineni Akhil launching movie “Akhil” was earlier scheduled to release on the 22nd of October. But, last week producer Nithin announced that the film isn’t finished yet, as some graphic work is still going on so the new releasing date will be announced sooner. Nagarjuna too said the same supporting Nithin’s comments.

But, the real reason for the delay of this Akkineni lad’s film is something different. Though, the director and producer made believe everyone that graphics was the reason, it isn’t, says source.

Nagarjuna, who is the father of Akkineni Akhil, saw the complete film last week and he wasn’t satisfied with few portions of the film, suggested director V.V.Vinayak that to re shoot few crucial scenes in the film.

With already the release date announced and now Nagarjuna suggesting of re-shooting scenes, producer Nithin had no choice but to fake the reason for the delay.

Currently, director V.V.Vinayak is res-shooting the scenes at Ramanaidu Studios in Nanakramguda. Once the shooting of these scenes finishes, Nagarjuna will watch the film again, if satisfied he gives a green signal to Nithin to announce the new release date.

Currently speaking Tollywood top directors are V.V.Vinyak, S.S.Rajamouli, Puri Jagannadh and Trivikram Srinivas. Each director among these has earned good image through their films. Among these directors, V.V.Vinayak has recently made a rear record by directing all top four heroes of Tollywood. Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Venkatesh and now Nagarjuna, all have acted under this mass director’s direction.

At the beginning of his career, he directed Balakrishna in “Chennakesava Reddy.” This film became a huge hit and brought Balakrishna closer to the masses. In 2003, it was the turn of Mega Star Chiranjeevi. “Tagore” was directed by Vinayak and Chiranjeevi was the lead hero in this film. This film stood as a milestone in Chiru’s career. Later on, he directed “Lakshmi” in 2006 starring Venkatesh and Nayanthara as the lead pair. This film too did well and marked another hit in Vinayak’s account.

After directing such big heroes of Telugu Cinema, Vinayak was left with “King” Nagarjuna. Though few stories were narrated to Nag, it didn’t work out well to both of them. Believing in his storytelling and direction, Nagarjuna offered a film to Vinayak. It wasn’t his film, rather his son Akhil’s launching movie.

Taking the responsibility seriously, Vinayak directed “Akhil” in his usual manner and satisfied Nagarjuna. At the time of shooting of “Akhil,” Vinayak planned of casting in Nagarjuna in a special role. He said the same to Nagarjuna, who gave a nod and did a scene for “Akhil.”

By so, he also directed Nagarjuna and earned a rare record of directing Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh and Balakrishna.

Akkineni Nagarjuna’s son Akkineni Akhil’s debut film ‘Akhil’ is in no mood to drop from the Dusshera race. With “Rudramadevi” releasing tomorrow and “Bruce Lee” releasing the very next week, “Akhil” has good completion as it will be releasing on 21st of this month.

As Akhil is the third generation in Akkineni family after Nageshwar Rao and Nagarjuna, expectations are riding high on his film. Producer Nithin wasn’t hesitating while signing cheques for this film. Likewise, director V.V.Vinayak took “Akhil” seriously as Nagarjuna believed in him.

This film is rumoured with a huge budget of 45cr. Many questioned Nithin for his lavish spending on a debut hero, although he was quite sure that “Akhil” will be a confirmed hit. In the play of increasing the expectations, he approached Nagarjuna to call upon Tollywood Super Star Mahesh Babu to the audio launch. With Mahesh’s appearance at the audio launch, it gave Nithin much boost to sell his film at a good rate.

With such huge money to recover, any film should have a free completion and bulk theatres. But “Akhil” seems to be quite opposite. It has the completion in the form of Gunasekhar’s “Rudramadevi” and Ram Charan’s “Bruce Lee.” Since these two films also are riding high on expectations “Akhil” has to settle down for limited theatres.

Since this would be a festival season, Nithin is in no mood of delaying the film’s release and is hoping that this will turn out to be a fortune to him.

Megastar Chiranjeevi seems to have preferred remake to make his comeback as he couldn’t find any subject that is entertaining at the same time having an underlying social message. As per the buzz in film circles, Telugu remake of Tamil hit ‘Kaththi’ will be the comeback film of Megastar.

Tagore Madhu, who produced Chiranjeevi’s ‘Tagore’, has obtained the Telugu rights of ‘Kaththi’ and he will produce the remake in association with mega power star Ram Charan. ‘Tagore’ director VV Vinayak will wield the megaphone for this prestigious film having story and screenplay by AR Murugadoss.

Pawan Kalyan and Jr NTR have earlier rejected to do ‘Kaththi’ remake as the stars hesitated due to political reasons and their association with the ruling TDP in Andhra Pradesh.

According sources, the official announcement will be made on the audio launch event of Bruce Lee, which will be held today evening at Hitex convention in Hyderabad.

It is known that Bollywood actress Sayesha Saigal is making her debut in Telugu cinema by playing the love interest of Akkineni Akhil in his debut film as lead hero. Despite Akhil has acted before, this movie will be his debut as hero. Commercial director VV Vinayak is directing this action comedy.

Sayesha Saigal has revealed few interesting facts about Akkineni hero. She said that, as both of them are making their debuts, they got help for the unit and they helped each other. She added that he is a fantastic co-star and it has been a pleasure working with him.

The movie is in its final leg of shooing of talkie part. Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan are providing screenplay while Nithiin is producing this flick.

As per the film nagar reports recently writer Chinni Krishna narrated a story to Chiranjeevi and if Chiru likes that story then VV Vinayak is going to direct Chiranjeevi’s 150th film. VV Vianyak also met Chiru recently, so if everything goes well then Vinayak will handle the Mega project.

Meanwhile Puri Jagannadh also starting his new film with Varun Sandesh and the movie has been titled as “Loafer”. The regular shooting of this movie will starts from next month. However, Chiru wants to start his new project at any cost in August this year.
