It looks like Chiyaan Vikram’s son Dhruv is all set to take over and rule the south Indian film industry like his father. If the reports are to be believed, Dhruv is going make his debut with Kollywood remake of recently released blockbuster film Arjun Reddy, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga starring Vijay Devarakonda and Shalini Reddy.

Recently it was reported that Leading Malayalam production and distribution house ‘E4 Entertainment’ has snapped the Tamil and Malayalam dubbing/remake rights of Arjun Reddy. Earlier it was heard that the makers are considering the name of Arya to essay the role of Vijay in its remake, but now sources say that the makers are planning to bring Dhruv on the board to play the lead role.

If everything will go accordingly, Vignesh Shivan will helm the remakes of Malayalam and Tamil.

Earlier on several occasions, Vikram has revealed that his son will enter the film industry as he is very much interested in showbiz but he was not sure in what capacity.

Last year, Dhruv had also made a short film that deals with the subject of child abuse within the family. The film was called ‘Goodnight Charlie. The star kid, indeed, has many talents.

Dhruv has a long way to go in the film industry, and a has a wide canvas to portray his many talents.

Vikram and Samantha starring Tamil film 10 Enradhukulla is getting ready to release in Telugu and the movie has been tilted as “TEN”. The makers released the first look. The movie already released in Tamil and it gets a mixed response from the audience.

Kollywood actor Vikram’s new movie ‘Sketch’ is getting ready to hit the big screens in October this year. Milky beauty Tamannah Bhatia is romancing with Vikram in this flick. The movie is an action comedy film written and directed by Vijay Chander. Vikram will be seen in a role of a local thug in the flick.

The movie has completed its shooting part, and post-production works are going on.

A special police team of South Division arrested Vikram Chatterjee in a sudden midnight raid in the wee hours of Friday morning.

It is heard that he has been absconding and trying to hide facts leading to his arrest. However, this was after police added the stringent culpable homicide not amounting to murder case against the actor for allegedly driving in a reckless manner leading to the death of model Sonika Singh Chauhan in the last week of April.

Various forensic reports along with the mechanical report had suggested Vikram was driving at a very high-speed before the accident. This has led Vikram’s friends to wonder if cops were trying to divert attention from real issues by carrying out this surprise arrest.

Ever since Sonika’s death, there has been pressure on police from both sides for a fair probe with commissioner Rajeev Kumar himself monitoring the probe and asking his officers to be neutral.

Vikram’s anticipatory bail plea hearing was scheduled to be heard at Kolkata HC on July 12 or 13.

The price is said to be more than Rs 11 cr, which is sensational for a hero who has not scored a hit in a long time. Although Vikram’s last film ‘I’ did a business of close to Rs 30 Cr in the Telugu states alone, that was the sole craze for Shankar’s film and not for Virkam’s.

Except ‘I’, none of Vikram’s films in the recent past has managed to grab even half the price fetched by Inkokkadu. Especially, after the release of Iru Mugan theatrical trailer, the film’s business started making waves.

If the latest reports are to be believed, Ram Charan, Nivin Pauly, and Sivakarthikeyan will grace the audio launch of the film on August 2 in Satyam Cinemas, Chennai.It is also learnt that they are in talks with a Bollywood star who could be the fourth guest of the event.

However, an official confirmation about the same is still awaited. Shibu Thameens are producing iru Mugan and Harris Jayaraj is the music composer of the film. Anand Shankar of Arima Nambi fame has directed the film, which is said to be an espionage thriller with Vikram playing both as a raw officer and a deadly villain. The film is slated to release on October 2nd, 2016.
