Tamil star hero Vikram, who is noted for picking challenging roles, has yet again selected an experimental role. After essaying diverse roles in a number of movies, Vikram is now set to play dual roles as hero and transgender villain in his forthcoming film titled Marma Manithan.

Vikram will be seen in two completely different avatars in the film directed by Anand Shankar of Arima Nambi fame. The film is being made on massive budget, and it will be shot in Malaysia for the most part. Vikram’s acting prowess is well known to audience and this challenging role as a transgender villain will only add few more awards to his resume which already is glorified with many awards including 1 National Award for Best Actor.

Nayanthara and Nithya Menon are playing female leads in this movie.Vikram will romance Kajal in his new film to be directed by Thiru.

‘Garuda’, the film that has been in the news for being Rajamouli’s next project after ‘Baahubali’, the 1000 Crore visual extravaganza, will have Tamil Hero Vikram playing a lead role.

The National award winning Vikram, is well known to Telugu audience with films like Shankar directorial ‘Aparichithudu’ and ‘I’ and ‘Siva Puthrudu’. He is playing the lead role in “Garuda” but Rajamouli is not directing the film.

In fact, Vikram is teaming up with Tamil director Thiru for an action entertainer and titled it Garuda. Sexy actress Kajal Aggarwal will be playing the leading lady.

Rajammouli had plans to work on Garuda post-Baahubali 2 . Hence, he just said that ‘Garuda’ script is in very initial stages so he couldn’t talk much. Now, he will have to search for an alternative title.

After acting alongside Vishal in flop movie ‘Paayum Puli’, Kajal Aggarwal signed to act opposite Raghava Lawrence in his new flick post groundbreaking hit ‘Kanchana 2’. Although the movie got shelved, she was a bit relieved as she was considered to romance Vikram in his next film ‘Marmamanidan’.

However, after the project went into the hands of another filmmaker, sexy Kajal was replaced by top Nayanatara. Just when Kajal was thinking that her career is over, she got another chance to pair with Vikram in his new film to be directed by young filmmaker Thiru. Even though she is missing chances, she is getting them back one way or other, proving how lucky she is.

Even for Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’, she was the first option but after considering many actresses, she was finally roped in. She is currently acting in a Hindi movie titled “Do Lafzon Ki Kahani “. In this film, she is paired with Randeep Hooda.

Chiyan Vikram’s upcoming film that will be directed by Anand Shanker has a good list of cast for the film. With Vikram and Nayanthara already agreeing to do the film, Nithya Menon will join on board sooner. Nayanthara will play the role of a lead heroine while Nithya in a prominent role.

Earlier heroines like Kajal Agarwal and Bindu Madhavi were talked for the second female lead, but director Anand has finally opted for Nithya.

In the recent time actress Nithya has been accepting roles that aren’t a heroine stature but a prominent one, in her words ‘a character that has a good scope for acting.’ Films like ‘S/O Satyamurthy’ and ‘Rudhramadevi’ in which she was seen as a character, gave her enough space to show case her acting skills.

There is another reason behind Nithya agreeing Vikram’s film. She has been a huge Vikram fan since the beginning. Nithya admitted on many occasions that Vikram’s approach towards characters fascinates her and get inspired by his acting.

Beautiful actress Nayanthara has delivered three back to back hits this year and hence it was believed that she has increased her remuneration. As per sources, the Maya actress charged Rs 3-3.5 Crore for a film opposite Vikram. Now the buzz is that Trisha linked her remuneration with actress Nayanthara.

Apart from Vikram’s film, Nayanthara has signed another film in which she will once again join hands with her rumored boyfriend cum director Vignesh Shivan and actor Vijay Sethupathi. Trisha is also expected to play another heroine.

Now, speculation is that Trisha is demanding 75 percent of Nayanatara’s remuneration to sign the film. The makers are currently in talks with the actress.

The Telugu version movie titled “Size Zero” audio will be launched on tomorrow (November 1, 2015) in Hyderabad.

Ace director A.R.Murugadoss was alleged of giving divorce to heroine Samantha. Yes, you heard it right. Samantha herself said that Murugadoss has divorced her.

Beauty Queen Samantha in her Twitter and said that “Happy Birthday A.R.Murugadoss sir. I love you even though you divorced me. Lots more love, happiness and blockbusters to you.”

Samantha has recently completed her shooting for “10 Enradhukulla” which stars Vikram in the lead role and directed by Vijay Milton. This film is being produced by A.R.Murugadoss and scheduled for release on 21st October.

This film’s shooting was wrapped recently, and a teaser was also released. Samantha, who fell in love with the movie team, felt sad and left the shooting in tears on the last day of the shoot. Samantha was pampered by the production unit and didn’t felt any trouble while shooting the film. Completing the film and leaving it was like a divorce to her from the movie.

When asked about it at the sets of Kaththi, Samantha replied decisively, “I cannot wait to get back to the sets of 10 Endrathukkulla. I love my role in the movie.”

So clearly, the actress has a favourite among the three. While her Anjaan avatar has stunned the fans with her glamorous new looks, one wonders how amazing must be her role in the Vijay Milton movie for the actress to be so thrilled about it.

10 Endrathukkulla is an action flick with high octane road scenes and a race against time plot of some sort, it has been rumoured. Some even compared it to the Hollywood franchise of Transporter films starring Jason Statham.

The film’s next schedule is set in Pune and it is aiming for a release sometime around Pongal 2015.

Meanwhile, Samantha still has a few days of the Kaththi shoot to finish up in Chennai.

While the Gautham Menon – Ajith flick, Kaththi and Anjaan are hogging the spotlight with rumours, controversies and promotional tactics, Chiyaan Vikram starrer 10 Endrathukkulla is progressing relatively quietly at a brisk pace in the media background.

This Vijay Milton directorial venture is rumoured to be a high-octane action thriller, which involves stunning car chases that requires international teams to shoot and exotic locations across the country.

In fact, AR Murugadoss who is producing the film in association with Fox Star Studios claims this as their biggest Tamil venture yet. The movie is set to release only in January of 2015 though. Then why shoot it so early? Probably because there will be a huge amount of postproduction work to be done before the finished product hits the big screens.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, the gorgeous girl who is in everything these days, is essaying the female lead in this one too. As of now, she has finished her first schedule of shooting for the film and reached Hyderabad just in time for the audio launch of the Telugu dubbed version of Anjaan titled Sikandar.

She is rather thrilled with her role in the Vijay Milton movie though, and has thanked the Goli Soda fame director for the opportunity. This is the first time she is being paired opposite Vikram.

10 Endrathukkulla will also see Bollywood star Jackie Shroff playing the baddie and veteran Kollywood character actor Pasupathy tackling a pivotal role. Some rumours indicate he is the villain but others reject this outright. There has been no confirmation from the team behind the flick yet.

Another veteran Manobala too has joined the cast as of yesterday, and like Samantha, he also seemed very grateful for a chance to work with Vikram again.

Given the fact that the last time Shankar and Vikram worked together the fans were rewarded with the iconic blockbuster Anniyan, the current collaboration of the two – Ai – is a hugely anticipated one to say the very least!

The plot of the movie has been closely guarded and no details were given to the media till date.. well, almost!

Now we have reports rolling in that several key points of the plot and details regarding the real work behind the magic have been leaked to the press!!

And here’s what we know so far:
Apparently, Vikram plays a boxer who faces a terrible ordeal due to the handiwork of several baddies, and the story mainly revolves around him going on a vengeful pursuit of those responsible. Also, sources say the main aspect of the story is a heath care scam of some kind.

Another fact of intrigue which has been ‘leaked’ is that the make up for Vikram was an extremely detailed and laborious endeavour. Supposedly, special makeup teams from the United States had to be brought in and guess what their pay was Close to Rs 2 lacs.. per day!!

Wow! Now that is sure to create some impressive effects on screen as far as how he looks!

And the bombshells don’t end there.. no. It has been reported that ‘extras’ were assigned on special duty to our leading man. Not for any luxury treatment but to make sure he never fell asleep with the makeup on! The reason for this being, if he did so the elaborate makeup around his chest area might harden and tighten, which in turn might lead to the actor having a cardiac attack!!

Talk about going the extra mile for your work! Chiyaan Vikram is of course known for going through intense physical transformations for his projects, and at times even putting himself through some punishing routines for the sake of his art but certainly, this takes the cake..

With these revelations, the expectations for the Shankar mega flick are surely going through the roof and Aascar Ravichandran, who is producing the film under the banner of his company Aascar Films must be a happy man.

Yep, that’s what the sources say. It seems the Anniyan star has possibly irked director Dharani, but no worries, the director seems to have taken it in stride and moved on.. or so we hope.

Here’s what happened – Dharani was pretty much counting on Vikram being available and joining him straight away at the sets for his upcoming film. He had obviously read him the proposed story and Chiyaan must have been impressed with it for the director to feel so confident.

However, though the director was counting the days for Vikram’s current project with Shanker (Ai) to come to a finish, it seems the star went straight on to the sets of Vijay Milton’s Pathu Endrathukumeleyey after wards.

And, we have a tense situation on our hands now. But Dharani took the high road here.

Instead of going for a full on ‘drama’ and a confrontation which the media would have loved, the film maker thought about his options and moved on to another star to work with – Vishal!

According to reports, the Ghilli director has already read the story to the young and fiery hero and we may soon have a formal announcement – if it’s in the stars that is.

Vishal, of course, is on a ‘producing spree’ with his company Vishal Film Factory and is always on the lookout for interesting stories with some mass entertainment potential. Recent rumours also indicate that he is considering multiple projects to produce at the moment.

He is producing his current flick Poojai, directed by Hari, in which he stars opposite the gorgeous Shruthi Haasan.

And the issue with Vikram and Dharani? Well, you know they say there are no long lasting grudges in politics and show business..
