Thalapathy Vijay is undoubtedly the most followed actor of Tamil film industry in recent times. The popularity of Vijay has crossed the boundaries over the last few years and his market has crossed the market value of Superstar Rajinikanth. Now, Vijay is coming up with a sports-based action drama, Bigil.
Directed by Atlee, this film features Vijay in three different shades. He will be seen as a football coach, football player and a gangster. The latest update from the Kollywood revealed that Vijay will be crooning a song in the movie. Earlier, Vijay has sung songs in films like Puli and Kaththi.
The music of Bigil is being composed by AR Rahman. Apparently, Rahaman gave a chance to Vijay to sing in the movie. Generally, Rahman prefers to rope in proved singers for his films. Thus, there might be some aspect of Vijay’s voice which might have attracted the music maestro. Bigil is slated to release during Diwali.
