Thalapathy Vijay is undoubtedly the most followed actor of Tamil film industry in recent times. The popularity of Vijay has crossed the boundaries over the last few years and his market has crossed the market value of Superstar Rajinikanth. Now, Vijay is coming up with a sports-based action drama, Bigil.

Directed by Atlee, this film features Vijay in three different shades. He will be seen as a football coach, football player and a gangster. The latest update from the Kollywood revealed that Vijay will be crooning a song in the movie. Earlier, Vijay has sung songs in films like Puli and Kaththi.

The music of Bigil is being composed by AR Rahman. Apparently, Rahaman gave a chance to Vijay to sing in the movie. Generally, Rahman prefers to rope in proved singers for his films. Thus, there might be some aspect of Vijay’s voice which might have attracted the music maestro. Bigil is slated to release during Diwali.

Director Shankar has started the much-anticipated sequel of Bharateeyudu earlier this year. But the shoot of the film is currently halted due to budget issues. And also, lead actor of the film, Kamal Haasan was busy in political works till last month. We have to see when will it go back on the floors.

Meanwhile, we hear that Shankar is now working on a new project. Apparently, he is planning to direct a multi starer with Vikram’s son Dhruv Vikram and Vijay’s son Jason Vijay. Shankar has worked with both these star heroes in the past and now, he is planning to work with their sons.

There is no official news about this project though. Currently, Dhruv Vikram is gearing up to make his debut with Adithya Varmaa, which is an official remake of Arjun Reddy. On the flip side, Jason Vijay is pursuing his higher studies in the US.

Tollywood young sensation Vijay Devarakonda whose previous outing ‘Taxiwala’ also turned out to be a superhit is now going to test his luck with his upcoming movie ‘Dear Comrade’.

Directed by Bharath Kamma, Vijay’s ‘Geetha Govindam’ costar Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead in this movie. A couple of singles and the teaser of the movie have already got released and went viral on the Internet. Today, the makers have unveiled the third single from the film that goes like ‘Gira Gira Gira’. The lyrical video of this melodious number is hinting that the song will come with a wedding backdrop. The video is currently trending on the internet. Justin Prabhakaran has scored amazing music for this song. Lyrics penned by Rehman are excellent. The beautiful rendition of Gowtham Bharadwaj and Yamini Prabhakaran added more strength for this song. The audience is now super excited to watch this song on the silver screens.

Yash Rangineni under Mythri Movie Makers banner is bankrolling this project. The movie is going to get released on July 26, 2019. The expectations of this movie are very high.

Now, there is another news about the actor as Vijay received a parcel from Tiruvur BJP activists which is wrapped in Saffron colour. Along with the parcel, there was also a letter in which the activists wrote that they will continue sending saffron clothes and Vijay’s father Chandrasehar has to wear them.

Cut to the past, they sent this parcel in connection to some statements that Vijay’s dad made before the elections. Speaking at an event, Chandrasekhar said that politicians are indirectly extending their support to pirates. He also said that they might end up in a situation where they have to wear saffron alone.
