The movie ran into trouble after a writer named Sarat Chandra approached the Court claiming that the story in the movie was actually copied from his novel. The court has been looking into this matter and they are yet to come to a conclusion over the same. The further action on the same is yet to be revealed.

In real life too Mahesh adopted a village called Siddhapuram in Mahabubnagar in Telangana. He also adopted his father Krishna’s village- Burripalem in Andhra Pradesh.

Bollywiood production houses Viacom 18 and EROS fighting for Mahesh Babu’s recently released Telugu movie ‘Srimanthudu’ rights. The film has already completed 50 days of its run successfully.

The huge success of Superstar Mahesh Babu’s ‘Srimanthudu’ has attracted top Bollywood production houses to look at the content.

Reports have emerged that EROS acquired the remake rights and is making plans to remake the film with hunk Hrithik. However, it is now heard that EROS has not yet acquired the remake rights, but they are lobbying.

EROS is in battle with Viacom 18 to grab the Hindi remake rights. As per reports, Viacom 18 has the dates of Salman Khan and the production house is trying to make this remake with him by grabbing the rights.

On the other hand, since EROS distributed ‘Srimanthudu’, it is confident that makers will give remake rights to it only.

Super Star Mahesh Babu has once again shown his humbleness towards his directors. This time, it’s “Srimanthudu” director Koratala Siva’s turn. Recently Mahesh Babu has surprised Koratala Siva by gifting him Audi A6.

In detail, Mahesh Babu, who faced back-to-back, flops at the box-office with Nenokkadine and Aagadu was guilty and apologized fans for making such films. He later started Srimanthudu with Koratala Siva and promised to his fans on that they will love Srimanthudu and is expecting a hit as his birthday gift from his fans.

His expectations came true, and Srimanthudu turned out to be a million dollar hit at the box-office. It collected over Rs 150 Cr and became the biggest hit in Mahesh’s Career. With the film collecting so much and leaving him overjoyed, Mahesh decided to give back something to the film director.

Yesterday, after attending the audio launch of “Akhil” Mahesh and Koratala Siva went to a nearby Audi showroom. There, Mahesh has surprised Koratala Siva by gifting him an Audi A6. Mahesh, who earned profits by “Srimanthudu, ” have gifted the car to Siva for making this film such a massive hit. Mahesh’s wife Namratha too was present while gifting the car.

Well, that was a good gesture from Mahesh Babu of gifting such an expensive car to Koratala Siva, who filled with surprise and joy.

Is Srimanthudu a copy? Well, we don’t know, but Sarath Chandra, who writes weekly articles, alleges that Srimanthudu is a copy of his story that got published in a popular magazine in the year 2012.

Koratala Siva, who directed Mahesh Babu Starrer “Srimanthudu, ” has received applause from all over for portraying such film. The film has also made good money and left producers of Mytri Movies in joy. “Srimanthudu” is about how a self-motivated guy adopts a minute village and develops it.

Now, Sarath Chandra, who writes weekly articles for Swathi Magazine, alleged that he wrote the original Srimanthudu story as “Chachhenta Prema” and is published in Swathi Weekly Magazine in 2012. Chachhenta Prema is a story about Veligodu Project and how a man is expelled from a distinct village and later his son comes back to the village without the knowledge of his father.

The story resembles Koratala Siva’s “Srimanthudu” and thus Chandra claimed so. He further added that he wanted to the same story with Nara Rohit, but couldn’t do for some reasons.

Sarath said that earlier when the film released he didn’t know about it as he was in Kerala on his personal work and had come to know of his friends who called him and informed.

Sarath Chandra lodged a complaint against Koratala Siva at Writers Association for plagiarism.

Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu and Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s Kick 2 movies was released recently, and Srimanthudu gets hit talk while Kick 2 gets the average talk. Mahesh Babu is very happy about the Srimanthudu movie success, but Raviteja made some comments on director Surendar Reddy for Kick 2 Movie result.

Now the latest news is that a case has been filed on both the movies in Kukatpally Police Station, Hyderabad. As per the reports an RTI activist named Rajesh Kumar has filed a case on Srimanthudu and Kick 2 movies at Kukatpally Police Station Hyderabad. He alleged that Srimanthudu & Kick 2 Movie producers have violated Section 38 of Cinematography Act. According to Section 38, the film producers must mention the Censor Report of their film in their print and electronic publicity material. But as per Rajesh, Srimanthudu & Kick 2 publicity material failed to carry the censor report (U, U/A). The case has been shifted to Miyapur’s 14th Metropolitan court, and a special officer was directed to investigate this case.

If the allegations are proved, then Srimanthudu and Kick 2 producers will have to face the legal consequences.
