Mythri Movie Makers is the production house that backed up the project. The film ended as a blockbuster but a writer has alleged that the story of the film has been copied. The case is in the court now, and the latest update is that Mahesh Babu is likely to attend court soon as Nampally Court has denied permission from an exemption of attendance to the actor.
The movie ran into trouble after a writer named Sarat Chandra approached the Court claiming that the story in the movie was actually copied from his novel. The court has been looking into this matter and they are yet to come to a conclusion over the same. The further action on the same is yet to be revealed.
