Released on August 7th last year, Superstar Mahesh Babu’s “Srimanthudu” has completed 175 Days run by today. The film has been running non-stop for 175 days at Lakshman Theatre in Emmiganuru.
It is an incredible run in the recent times where movies find it hard to run beyond 50 days even after super hit talk. It is a double celebratory moment for the makers as the film has just grabbed 6 awards at the recently concluded IIFA Utsavam.
Mahesh Babu’s sophisticated performance, Koratala Siva’s subtle concept of adopting villages, Shruti Haasan’s glamour, Devi Sri Prasad’s soulful music and the production values made the film a huge success at box office. With the concept of giving back to one’s roots, the film struck the chord with audiences.
It is well known that the film collected close to 85 crore share and became the second biggest hit after “Baahubali”.
