Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu movie managed to beat the Baahubali TRP rating on small screen.
Mahesh’s latest blockbuster film ‘Srimanthudu’, which had emerged the second biggest hit of Tollywood by collecting over Rs 85 Crore share, was premiered on Zee Telugu on 8th November.
The family entertainer received a huge response for its premiere. Pics of fans of Mahesh performing puja to the TVs surfaced on social media on the next day of premiere date.
As per reliable sources, Srimanthudu has garnered 22.04 TRP rating, and thus it beat Baahubali, which had fetched only 21.84 TRP. Popular channel Zee Telugu has bagged the satellite rights of Srimanthudu by investing Rs 12 Crore, the highest for Mahesh and the second best for a Telugu film after Baahubali.
If not for the incessant advertisements during the premier of Baahubali, the epic film would have set records at TRP are too.
