Veteran actress Sridevi has left us all shocked. The diva’s untimely death has sent shock waves to the entertainment industry as well. Her mortal remains reached Mumbai late in the night yesterday. Bollywood, Tollywood, Mollywood, Kollywood celebrities are paying their last respect to Sridevi. Sridevi’s funeral will take place in a while.

As Sridevi’s death has left all her fans in tears, the members of housing society where Sridevi lives have decided not to celebrate Holi festival. Sridevi lives in Green Acres Co-Operative Housing society. The untimely death of Sridevi has left everyone in tears. So, the neighboring people have decided to pay their homage to Sridevi by not celebrating Holi festival which falls on 2nd March.

BJP and Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy stated that Sridevi was murdered, even as the forensic report rules out any kind of foul play in her death. Swamy also pointed a finger at underworld terrorist Dawood Ibrahim, and admitted that we should take serious cognizance of the “illicit relations between cinema actresses and Dawood.”

During media interaction, “It doesn’t appear to me the facts that have come out in the media are consistent. She never drank hard liquor so how did it enter her system? Was she forcibly fed? What happened to the CCTV, we have not heard a word about that? It suddenly appears in the media that she died of heart failure as if it’s pre-planned.”

At length, he concluded, “If you ask my opinion I’ll tell you that I think it’s murder. It is very difficult to die and drown in a bathtub unless somebody pushed you or prevent you from breathing.”

The mystery around the death of the Indian actress has taken the country by storm since the forensic report stated that she died of accidental drowning after losing balance and falling in a bathtub full of water, contrary to initial reports that the cause of her death was cardiac arrest.

The Dubai Police has recorded the statement of Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor, the husband of late veteran actress Sridevi.

Upset with speculations in media related to Sridevi’s death, and a section of various aspects of the Sridevi’s lifestyle, Ram Gopal Varma expressed his frustration. He said people used to praise her beauty when she was alive, but they are now scrutinizing what she had.

He tweeted, “With regard to Sridevi, people always talked about the beauty of her body, her expressive eyes, her sensuous lips, her awesome waist and her thunder thighs…And now they talking about her mortal remains, alcohol in her blood, water in lungs and contents of her stomach…Goddd!!!.”

RGV is her huge fan. He directed two films with her Kshana Kshanam and Govinda Govinda. He further tweeted: “Can any person’s life end in a more tragic and in a more horrific way? It’s traumatic to hear her being dissected in so many terrible ways? I feel like just f**king kill myself.”

After two days of investigations and formalities, Dubai Police finally cleared the release of veteran actress Sridevi’s dead body. Sridevi’s body is to be embalmed for the cremation at Mumbai, India. Dubai Prosecution Service has also closed the investigation into the actor’s death and announced as the ‘case is closed’.

Update: Dubai Police has handed over the Consulate and the family members letters for the release of the mortal remains of the Indian cinema icon Sridevi Boney Kapoor so that they can proceed for embalming.

Arjun Kapoor the stepson of Sridevi flew to Dubai in the morning and is taking care of formalities. Boney Kapoor reportedly discovered Sridevi unconscious in the bathtub filled with water in the residing hotel.

It’s been two days since Veteran actress, the first female Super Star Sridevi’s death was announced. But, her body is still at the morgue in Dubai, where she left her last breathe after she went there to attend a family wedding. Awaiting the clearance from the Dubai Public Prosecution, everything is getting more worse for the family and friends of Sridevi.

Only after the clearance, the body will be released, embalmed and repatriated to India. In this frame of context, Sridevi’s death has become a topic of discussion for all. It was yesterday that the forensic reports of Sridevi were out, which claimed that she died by accidentally drowning in the bathtub. Ever since this report was out, there were several speculations and suspects made.

Sridevi, who made her acting debut at the age of four, was especially noted for her impeccable timing as a comedienne.

Soon after her marriage, she took a 15-year hiatus break from movies in 1997, . She returned in 2012’s English Vinglish and stunned fans with her performance as a villainous queen in Vijay’s Puli, which also marked her comeback to Tamil cinema after a gap of more than two decades.

Sridevi also notched up credits in Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu in the 1970s and ’80s, making her one of the most hard-working actresses of those decades.

She was paired with legendary NT Rama Rao in Vetegaadu (1979), Sardar Papa Rayadu (1980) and Justice Chowdhury (1982). And she acted with several star heroes in Tollywood. She won millions of hearts with her acting in Padaharella vayasu and Megastar’s jagadeka veerudu Athiloka Sundari. In between, she made a soft debut in Hindi films through Solva Savan in 1979.

AWARDS:
Sridevi was nominated for 10 Filmfare Awards and won five. The government of India awarded her Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian honor, in 2013.
