The entire nation was shocked after hearing the sudden demise of legendary actress Sridevi. She was found dead in a bathtub in a hotel when she went to Dubai to attend a family wedding. More than anyone else, it was her husband Boney Kapoor who was heartbroken by the news.

It has been over a year since she passed away but looks like Boney still didn’t get over it. The producer broke down while speaking about her in a recent interview. Boney attended a chat show recently called ‘Aur Ek Kahani’. When the host asked him about Sridevi, he suddenly broke into tears.

He said that he still didn’t get over the fact that she is no more. That particular video is currently going viral all over the media. We understand Boney’s pain but things once done can’t be changed. People should try moving on.

Due to some tough family issues, British actress Daisy Edgar Jones has walked out of the prestigious film, RRR. She was supposed to act alongside NTR in this movie. Her final rites were held in Mumbai and the ashes were immersed in the holy water of Rameshwaram, located in her home state Tamil Nadu.

As her first death anniversary is nearing by, her husband Boney Kapoor held a special pooja at her Chennai residence a few days back. Sridevi’s daughters Jahnavi Kapoor, Kushi Kapoor, and few other close family members and friends attend this pooja ceremony.

Now, Boney is putting one of Sridevi’s Kota sarees to the auction. This auction to be held online and all the money came through it will be donated to an NGO which works for the well being of orphan kids, underprivileged children and specially-abled persons.

Boney Kapoor is currently producing the Tamil remake of Pink which stars Ajith in the lead role. He told in an interview that it was Sridevi’s desire to produce a film for Ajith under her home banner. Both Sridevi and Ajith worked for the Tamil version of English Vinglish in the past.

However, as per latest reports, during the 65th National Film Awards announcement held last month, Sridevi was given the Best Actress award posthumously for her last film ‘Mom’. The complete list of winners was announced where late actor Vinod Khanna was conferred with the Dada Saheb Phalke Award.

Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor along with daughters Janhvi and Khushi attended the event. Sridevi’s family members have reached the capital city to accept the National Film Award for the actress which will be handed out on May 3, 2018.

Entire film fraternity and fans was left in a state of shock when the news of the sudden demise of veteran actress Sridevi was heard. However, in a heart-warming tribute to his beloved ‘Sri’, husband Boney Kapoor is reportedly planning to make a documentary on her.

It is heard that, Boney Kapoor has already registered titles for the project. According to reports, Sri, Sridevi and Sri Maam are the three titles registered by Boney Kapoor with the movie registration department of one of the producer associations of Bollywood.

A source close to Boney Kapoor said that, “Boneyji is serious about making a film on Srideviji and hence he has registered these titles. He is also keen to acquire other films that she has worked in and has registered the titles of those films too. Films like Chaalbaaz, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Jaanbaaz, Mr India and even titles like Return of Mr India have been registered by Boneyji recently.”

If the report by the daily is to be believed, Boney Kapoor has registered ’20 odd titles’ and the above mentioned are only a few amongst them.

While Sridevi’s sudden demise left huge shock in the lives of her family, friends and fans, it also put a pause on 2 States director Abhishek Varman’s next untitled film. Sridevi’s daughter Jahnvi Kapoor took to Instagram to announce that Madhuri Dixit will replace Sridevi in the film.

However, filmmaker Karan Johar took to his twitter to clarify that the Varman directorial, which will star Madhuri in place of the late actress, is not titled as Shidda. He also announced that the film will hit the floors in mid April.

Jahnvi wrote on Instagram that the film was very dear for her mother. “Abhishek Varman’s next film was very close to mom’s heart …Dad, Khushi and I are thankful to Madhuri ji for now being a part of this beautiful film…,” she wrote, sharing a picture of Sridevi and Madhuri.

It is a well-known fact that Akshay Kumar holds a Canadian citizenship. Although, not much was spoken about it earlier, but since the advent of social media and the trolls, Akshay has been under the scrutiny of many people.
