It is a well-known fact that Akshay Kumar holds a Canadian citizenship. Although, not much was spoken about it earlier, but since the advent of social media and the trolls, Akshay has been under the scrutiny of many people.
When asked about the same at one of the events a few years ago, Akshay Kumar said that it was an immensely proud feeling that he was offered a Canadian citizenship. A major reason behind this was his constant visits to Canada for his film shoots, mostly the Khiladi films like Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, International Khiladi and Khiladi 420.
But going beyond the social media trolls, Akshay now has come under the radar of the MNS chief, Raj Thackeray recently slammed Akshay and Sridevi at an event. Talking about him, Raj Thackeray said, “ Toilet-Ek Prem Katha and Padman are sponsored by the government, Akshay Kumar is a Canadian citizen, though he propagates everything about India.
