Exactly a year ago, legendary actress Sridevi left this world, shattering the hearts of millions of her fans and admirers. The actress, who went to Dubai to attend a wedding, died by accidentally drowning in her bathtub. Her final rites were held in Mumbai and the ashes were immersed in the holy water of Rameshwaram, located in her home state Tamil Nadu.
As her first death anniversary is nearing by, her husband Boney Kapoor held a special pooja at her Chennai residence a few days back. Sridevi’s daughters Jahnavi Kapoor, Kushi Kapoor, and few other close family members and friends attend this pooja ceremony.
Now, Boney is putting one of Sridevi’s Kota sarees to the auction. This auction to be held online and all the money came through it will be donated to an NGO which works for the well being of orphan kids, underprivileged children and specially-abled persons.
