Taking it to social networking site, Alia Bhatt just got pretty elated and her tweet just shows how much the youngie fashionista cant contain her excitement levels. Her post read, “Today is day 1 of #Shaandaar !!!! Wish me luckkkkkk :D start of a new beautiful journey!!! Wohooooo @shahidkapoor @FuhSePhantom @karanjohar”.

Alia Bhatt has been on a hit-spree and all her projects are working too well at the Box Office and also she is being highly appreciated for her acting potential. While Alia seems excited to be a part of it, we really hope Shasha feels the same, who is otherwise too busy promoting his next, ‘Haider’.

Shahid already has Abhishek Chaubey’s untitled project, Raj and Krishna DK’s Farji, and Vikas Bahl’s Shandaar. But about Magadheera, Shahid chooses to remain tight-lipped. He doesn’t want to talk about the project until he starts upon.

The original flick had Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal and was one of the blockbustering hits. We hear that Sajid Nadiawala has bought the rights of the film. After Kick’s success as the director too, it seems Sajid wants to pick up great movies and have them remade in Hindi.

It will surely be interesting to see Shahid in such diverse roles.

Shahid Kapoor is busy with promotions of his upcoming film Haider. Much so that the star hasn’t even got time to see his father, Pankaj Kapoor’s film Finding Fanny.

Shahid expressed his desire and said that he is dying to see his father in those shorts and unbuttoned shirts checking out Dimple Kapadia. Since he has not seen his father in such avatar ever, Shasha is super elated to see him onscreen.

Finding Fanny has been amassing humungous response, and is a tale of 5 oddballs, who set upon a journey to find Stephanie Fernandez, who is Naseeruddin Shah’s childhood love. The teaser looks really promising and with veterans like Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur and Dimple Kapadia, along with Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor, the film is likely to touch hearts.

Both the actors Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor shared the Haider first look posters on the micro-blogging website. The movie Haider based on William Shakespeare’s Hamlet and set in Kashmir.

Actors like Tabu, Kay Kay Menon and Irrfan Khan playing the other lead roles in the film. The movie is being directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. The first look teaser of the film will be released today and the movie is scheduled for its release on October 2, 2014.

Sonakshi’s Birthday party turned out to be more interesting than one would have expected.

While the shutterbugs only spotted Sidharth Malhotra, Arjun Kapoor and Vikramaditya Motwane at Sonakshi Sinha’s birthday bash on Sunday night, we have learnt that a special guest was waiting for her after the party.

Buzz is that the actress’ `good friend’ Shahid Kapoor picked up the birthday girl from the venue of the party and the two went for a long drive.

A source close to the actress revealed, “Shahid was running late and couldn’t meet her while she partied in Bandra with her other friends. However, once the do was wrapped up, Shahid arrived and the two spent quite a substantial amount of time together.”

The duo has been rumoured to be in a relationship for quite some time now. However, the actors have constantly denied it.

“Shahid is really fond of Sonakshi Sinha and the two spend a lot of time in each other’s company. Since Sonakshi is in the midst of promoting her upcoming film, she hasn’t found the time to catch up with Shahid. So when he met up with her on the eve of her birthday, she was really delighted,” added the source.

Sonakshi,celebrated the birthday by getting a star tattoo on her collar bone. However, we can only guess what the gift given to her by the other star was.

The duo, who are currently shooting for their next film Haider are all set to wrap up the production. The actor director combo now plans to do a sequel to Kaminey, and Vishal plans to tile the film as Maha Kaminey.

As per the inside reports of a tabloid, the sequel will carry forward the story of the first instalment with a new twist. The sources confirm that Maha Kaminey will be more gory and dark than the first film, more evil characters with prominence and the chance for Shahid Kapoor to portray a new shade that was never done by the actor himself before.

Vishal Bharadwaj is still in the process of giving some final touches to the script, making sure that it stands out to be a potential sequel to the original.

Kaminey, though did averagely at Box Office, became popular for Shahid Kapoor’s portrayal, dance moves, music and comedy. It remains to be seen if the controversial duo Shahid Priyanka will be repeated on screen once again for Maha Kaminey. The chances are high that Sonakshi Sinha will be considered this time, thanks to their workable on screen chemistry and off screen camaraderie as friends.

Director Vikas Bahl stated that he would like Alia Bhatt to be the leading lady for his next project Shaandar which stars Shahid Kapoor as the leading man. The filmmaker expressed his desire to cast Alia while talking to PTI.

“We have finalised Shahid. I would like to have Alia in the film, but we are still working on the script. So it’s too early to talk about the heroine” he said.

He said that it was a hard hitting film about the lives of teenagers trapped at the time of Civil war in Sri Lanka. The film carries an impressive voiceover narration from ‘Roja’ fame, Arvind Swamy, and stars Karan, Sugandha Ram and Saritha in important roles in the film. The film was earlier planned to release in October 2013 but was delayed due to the continuous work and re work that was being carried out at the post production stages.

Rumour has it that Alia Bhatt has been approached to star opposite Shahid Kapoor in Vikas Bahl’s next film.

2) Kareena Kapoor for ‘RamLeela’:

Kareena was earlier signed on for the role of ‘Leela’ which was later essayed by Deepika Padukone. ‘Date issues’ was the reason she cited for moving out of the project. However, she later went on to do ‘Gori Tere Pyar Mein’ under Dharma Productions which was a huge debacle.

3) Shahid Kapoor for ‘Rockstar’:

What went to be a huge career-booster for Ranbir Kapoor was first offered to Shahid. Back then, he was shooting for Shaad ali’s untitled project which is why he opted out of ‘Rockstar’ . The untitled project was,however,shelved after a few weeks of shoot. It was clearly a case of ‘losing all ends’ for Shahid there!

4) Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for ‘Heroine’:

The casting of this movie was a roller coaster ride in itself. Kareena was the original choice for the film which was later signed by Aishwarya. However, due to her pregnancy Aishwarya walked out of the film forcing the makers to eventually get Kareena aboard.

5) Johnny Depp in ‘Pirates of the Carribean series’:

Faced with the task of adapting a theme park ride for family audiences, the sensible thing would have been to gamble on a safer bet. Instead, Depp whose box office results refelected inconsistency,got the gig. An overnight transformation in his demeanour got him his first Oscar nomination.
