As per the latest updates, the director signed a project with Akhil for his next. The director revealed that this film is going to be an intense, realistic action film with heavy violence quotient and strong romance as a backdrop.

He tweeted the same as, “Nagarjuna, I want to be honest, even if you beat me with a cycle chain. I really think Akhil has a better voice, better style, better demeanor and many other things than what you had when you were doing Shiva”. This film is produced by Nagarjuna and likely to hit the floors after few months. Akhil is currently busy with Venky Atluri’s project with BVSN Prasad as producer.

Ram Gopal Varma appeared before the Central Crime Station today in connection with a case booked against him for alleged derogatory remarks on women. As earlier Women activists have lodged a complaint with the police against director Ram Gopal Varma and his project ‘God, Sex and Truth’ (GST) on Thursday alleging that the short film was derogatory to women.

According to reports, Ram Gopal Varma, who was expected to come around 1 pm, reached the station early around 12 noon along with his lawyer. A five-member police team is questioning him. The case pertains to Varma’s alleged derogatory remarks against women during the release of his much-hyped short film ‘God Sex and Truth‘ and posting ‘obscene’ pictures of the film on social media.

CCS officials said Varma will be asked to explain his comments. Post a legal opinion, necessary action will be taken.

Controversial filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has finally conceded to the demands of those who were complaining against the ‘Vangaveeti’ biopic even since the project was announced.

Although Varma had allegedly received several threats, he didn’t deter and finished the shooting. The ‘Kamma Kapu’ song from the movie, which was already released, however turned controversial with the lyrics looking potentially demeaning.

After a few members of those respective castes lodged a petition against the film I the High Court, Varma and film’s producer Dasari Kiran Kumar have released a joint statement saying they had decided to remove the ‘Kamma Kapu’ song. After the voluntary decision of the makers ahead of the hearing, the High Court on Friday wrote off the case.

The film’s audio launch event is scheduled to be held in Vijayawada on 3rd December. The film’s theatrical release date will be announced soon.

‘Banglore underworld has a far more viscous quality that explains its pan India effect nd it’s links to Mumbai and Dubai-based Underworld. After all my understanding what I had of the underworld I realised today that the D Company is much less in comparison to B Company’.

‘The name of my film on the Banglore Underworld is going to be “Appa” and the tagline of “Appa” is going to be -The Father of all Godfathers’.

I always thought Godfather was a fictional character but after Meeting Mutthappa Rai realised he is real and he is the father of all Godfathers.
