Director Vamsi Paidipally teamed up with Super Star Mahesh Babu for the exciting project titled Maharshi. The film performed well at the box-office and is creating new non-Baahubali records in several areas. Ram Gopal Varma is one of the senior filmmakers who lately opened up about the film.

On the occasion of his press interaction in Bheemavaram, RGV opened up about the film Maharshi. Ram Gopal Varma mentioned that he never went to the agriculture field and stated that he does not know the real problems of farmers.

When asked about Maharshi movie, RGV said that no one would have watched such a film if not for Mahesh Babu. “There are a lot of films being made on farmers but the reason behind the audiences encouraging this one is Mahesh Babu,” said RGV.

He is busy with the promotions of the film Lakshmi’s NTR which is releasing next week.

The makers of Mahesh Babu’s current film Maharshi are very happy with the way the movie performed at the box-office. The film is creating a storm of collections at the box-office now. At the regional box-office and overseas box-office, Maharshi is performing well.

Now, the film unit made their presence at Lord Balaji Temple at Tirupathi. During the VIP darshan opening this morning, the director Vamsi, producer Raju and others from the film unit visited the temple and had darshan.

The actor is 9 years old and hails from Jangareddy Gudem. He has been to Lakshmi theatre to watch the film and spoke to the media about the movie.

Chakri was seen in almost 37 films so far in his career which includes the blockbusters like Mirchi, Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum, 1 Nenokkadine, Speedunnodu, Gunturodu, Dwaraka, Brahmotsavam, Manam, Rojulu Marayi and a few others.

Chakri’s elder brother Vishnu Charan is pursuing his 8th standard now and his younger brother Krishna Charan is studying UKG. Both Vishnu Charan and Krishna Charan are also child artists. Chakri’s father Satish Naidu set up his own photo studio in Kukatpally and is working as a still photographer.

He played a mute child in the film Maharshi which is being received well by everyone.

Unexpectedly, a sad incident took place when one of the fans died while erecting a flexi of Mahesh Babu in Dhavaleswaram near Rajamahendravaram of East Godavari district. The incident took place during the midnight of Wednesday.

Yerramshetty Rajeev (27) breathed his last and he was working with Horlicks as a factory employee. While erecting a flexi, he slipped down from the top of a building which is adjacent to the theatre.

While he is being taken to hospital, he lost his life. The news broke out this morning and a lot of fans of expressed their condolences over the same.

It is known that the movie ticket costs these days are reaching sky. On this note, Telangana government has took the increase in the movie ticket cost seriously. It is known that the theaters tried to increase the ticket cost of ‘Maharshi’ movie.

On this note, Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav has organised an emergency meeting with the officials. CS, Home Secretary, Law Secretary attended the meeting. They have discussed this issue seriously and Talasani confronted by asking how how they can increase the ticket costs without informing the government. The government is also in plans to file a petition in High Court about the the decision of theatre managements. But, the theatre managements are claiming that they have increased the ticket cost based on the orders released by High Court.

Coming to the ticket cost of ‘Maharshi’, in the single screen theatres the cost is Rs. 80 – 110 whereas it is Rs. 138 – 200 in multiplexes.

Meanwhile, the producers of the film are trying to get permission for the ticket hike and special shows from the last few days. According to the latest reports, the team has got permission from the AP government. Thus, there will be special shows in the state and the ticket price will be capped at Rs. 200.

Things are different in Telangana. Here, the government doesn’t allow the hiking of ticket prices. Thus, producer Dil Raju is trying to get permission for the extra shows. We have to wait and see whether the T-govt will give a nod for that or not.
