It seems like makers have added enough glamor to the sequel of successful horror comedy ‘Aranmanai,’ that it can now be branded as a horror sex comedy. The movie team also released the official theatrical trailer of Aranmanai 2.

The first part had beautiful Hansika and sexy Laxmi Raai and the sequel with ‘Aranmanai 2’ title, has Trisha Krishna and hot Poonam Bajwa to raise the temperatures. Of course, Hansika still is there. After watching the posters and theatrical trailer, it can be safely said that the makers added extra glamor by bringing in the three bombshells.

Director Sundar C and Siddharth played crucial roles. The trailer promises that the sequel will be far sexier and scarier than the prequel, which was dubbed in Telugu as Chandrakala.

Aranmanai 2 will hit the big screens on January 29, 2015.

Dulquer Salmaan, son of Malayalam superstar Mammootty has a good market in Tamil Nadu apart from being a star in Malayalam. With Mani Ratnam’s ‘O Kadal Kanmani’, he has become a household name in Tamil Nadu.

After rejecting another opportunity to act in Mani Ratnam’s direction, it is heard that Dulquer has recently given his green signal for a new Tamil film. Interestingly, he will be romancing top Tamil actress Hansika Motwani in this film. The makers of super hit horror film ‘Aranmani’ are going to produce it. An official announcement regarding this is yet to be made.

The interesting combination of Hansika and Dulquer is expected to be the USP of this romantic comedy. It will be made in Tamil and Malayalam.

Bubbly beauty Hansika Motwani, who was stuck in a heavy traffic last night in Chennai, walked her way to the hotel in which she was staying. She was reported of walking on the streets despite heavy rain and floods occupying the city.

Hansika, who returned to Chennai yesterday after attending a shooting in Mumbai, has landed in the city around 10:00 PM. After completing her shooting, Hansika was way back to her Park Hyatt, the hotel that she and her assistants were allotted. She was then stuck in a heavy traffic jam that was never in her mind of clearing sooner.

Additional to this the city was blessed with heavy rains as the water was stable on the busy roads. After being seated in her car for over two hours, it was then that Hansika decided to walk to her hotel that was miles away.

Accompanied by her assistants, Hansika walked on foot till she reached her hotel. It was 3 am when she reached the hotel.

This isn’t any new for Hansika to do so, in the past too she was placed in the same situation, this time it was the heavy Mumbai city. She along with her friend took on the roads and reached their destiny.

Veteran director Sundar C’s Aranmanai was in news recently for all the wrong reasons for the team behind the movie. Apparently an incomplete version of the teaser trailer of the movie was leaked on the internet.

While the director himself was stunned and shocked to learn this, his wife and yesteryear actress Khushboo, immediately went into damage control mode and tweeted the clarification out, and asked the people to wait for original teaser which would be far better. She also pleaded with the people not to judge the movie based on the quality of this so called teaser as much work still remained to done on it.

Anyways, now that that issue has been dealt with, the team has moved on to the actual proceedings of getting the movie out and sources say they are planning for a release date this September itself. September 19th to be precise.

No official announcement has been made regarding this though. However, it also then stands to reason that the audio launch will be here shortly, maybe in a matter of days.
Aranmanai is touted as a horror comedy film, and it has a multi star studded cast – the lead character being played by the lovely and vivacious Hansika Motwani. The rest of the cast too has some other stunning starlets like Andrea Jeremiah and Raai Lakshmi.

The Jayam Ravi – Hansika Motwai starrer Romeo Juliet is being filmed at a brisk pace and the movie is about to start its final schedule of filming. But before that, the crew are finishing up what is rumoured to be a very interesting portion of the flick with Jayam Ravi and the other leading lady in the film – Poonam Bajwa.

This part is currently being shot in Valasaravakkam, Chennai. The final schedule will only commence after this and that will also include Hansika. There is also a song that remains to be shot outside India, though the locations for this have not been revealed to the media yet.

Romeo Juliet is touted as a romantic comedy based on the original Shakespearean classic tale, but set in the modern days. One wonders how the tragic tale of the two star crossed lovers that ends in tears has been spun by the writers in to a comedy though it looks like the talent involved is definitely competent enough to accomplish that.

Directed and written by Lakshman whose maiden directorial venture this is, the film is being produced by S Nandhagopal under the banner of Madras Enterprises.
D Imman will be composing the melodies for this film and Soundarrajan is the man wielding the camera. Editing work will be handled by Anthony.

The movie has, in addition to the star cast, a special appearance by Arya. Madhumita is also part of the supporting cast.

Jayam Ravi apparently plays a fitness trainer to the stars while Hansika’s character has been decribed by the actress herself as “a girl with a futuristic attitude.”
Interestingly, Nayantara was the first actress considered for the lead female part in the flick, but the director later decided against it as she was also pairing with Jayam Ravi in another film – Thani Oruvan.
