Veteran director Sundar C’s Aranmanai was in news recently for all the wrong reasons for the team behind the movie. Apparently an incomplete version of the teaser trailer of the movie was leaked on the internet.
While the director himself was stunned and shocked to learn this, his wife and yesteryear actress Khushboo, immediately went into damage control mode and tweeted the clarification out, and asked the people to wait for original teaser which would be far better. She also pleaded with the people not to judge the movie based on the quality of this so called teaser as much work still remained to done on it.
Anyways, now that that issue has been dealt with, the team has moved on to the actual proceedings of getting the movie out and sources say they are planning for a release date this September itself. September 19th to be precise.
No official announcement has been made regarding this though. However, it also then stands to reason that the audio launch will be here shortly, maybe in a matter of days.
Aranmanai is touted as a horror comedy film, and it has a multi star studded cast – the lead character being played by the lovely and vivacious Hansika Motwani. The rest of the cast too has some other stunning starlets like Andrea Jeremiah and Raai Lakshmi.
Sundar C will also be starring in the movie, while the editing work has been done by Srikanth. UK Senthilkumar was the man behind the lens.
The film has been produced by the D Dinesh Karthik under the banner of Vision I Medias.
The fans wait eagerly for this one and to see Hansika rock, in what has been promised to be an all new avatar for her.
