We had already reported that a woman lodged a complaint with the Osmania police that Anasuya Bharadwaj damaged her phone when her son tried to take a picture with her. The kid’s mother also claimed that Anasuya also used some unparliamentary language. Hence, she filed a complaint against Anasuya.

Now according to the latest updates, Anasuya Bharadwaj’s Twitter account has been deactivated. Not just Twitter, Anasuya has completely exited from Facebook and Instagram. It seems she is trying to escape criticism from netizens.

On the work front, Anasuya will be next seen essaying the role of a journalist in Gayatri starring Mohan Babu, Manchu Vishnu, and Shriya Saran. She will also be seen in Sukumar’s Rangasthalam 1985.

At the same time, someone asked her how she’s feeling to play ‘menattha’ of Mega hero Ram Charan in the upcoming film Rangasthalam 1985, Anasuya gave another harsh reply. “I’m not playing the role of aunt to Charan. But, it’s a crucial role in the movie and I’m not going to reveal how the character is going to be as producer and director will not like her to talk about it much in advance”.

Acclaimed filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s dream project ‘Bajirao Mastani’ has been facing continuous hurdles these days.

The film, a love story of Maratha warrior Bajirao and Mastani, has become the target of historians. A Facebook page titled ‘Ban the Movie Bajirao Matani’, has been created by historians complaining that Bajirao Mastani was a fabricated story, and it was deviating from facts in many ways.

The description of the page is ‘This movie is purely insulting the glorious History of Shri Bajirao Peshwa. Let’s not forget his valor. Let us work together to halt misrepresentation’.

The page already over 2000 likes and it is fast gaining popularity. Bhansali is not happy with this movement on social media, and he must fight like a warrior with the historians.

Bajirao Mastani is all set for a grand release on 18th of December.

Newcomer Siri Sri, who shot to fame with “Broker 2”, recently became a victim of cyber crime. Broker 2 Actress Siri Sri Lodges Police Complaint.

Reportedly, a guy from a prominent educational society based in Hyderabad, hacked the Facebook account of Siri Sri and asked donations from her friends saying that it is for the purpose of “social service”.

Unaware of the fact that they were being duped, Siri Sri’s friends ‘donated’ a total sum of Rs 52,000 to the imposter.

The guy wasn’t the smartest though as the issue came to light after he asked money from none other than Siri Sri’s father.

When Siri Sri’s father informed her about this, she realized that someone had hacked her account and was asking for money on her behalf . She later relaised that many of her friends were cheated for money in the same manner.

Siri Sri immediately lodged a complaint with the Jubilee Hills Police Station about this.

After primary investigation, police have identified the miscreant as the Assistant General Manager of a reputed Educational Society based in Hyderabad. More updates to follow!

It seems the recent ‘fake marriage news’ scandal has really put actor Dileep on the defensive against cyber attacks from pranksters and other malicious agents, as he has come forward to clarify that his daughter Meenakshi does not have a Facebook account and the one currently gaining popularity under her name is not hers but a fake one!

The page under Meenakshi’s name right now claims itself to be her official page and declares that she herself started it to share her thoughts and views with the world.

Dileep went on his official FB page and warned everyone with the following post today:

Dear friends,
the Facebook pages which are being shared as my daughter Meenakshi’s official are fakes. She doesn’t have any Facebook page and we never authorized anyone to manage any. Similarly this FB page is the only Social Media platform I use to communicate with my online friends.

The indignant actor’s outrage against the so called cyber pranks started a few days ago when the false news of his impending marriage with actress Kavya Madhavan spread across the social media sites, initially originating from his Twitter handle – only he doesn’t have one!

Apparently, the fake account was created in his name by unknown parties and used as a convenient tool to malign his reputation, forcing Dileep to file an official complaint with the police cyber cell against those responsible.

Yes, the talented sweetheart of Mollywood, Sanusha Santhosh, who debuted in television years ago as Baby Sanusha, apologized on her FB page yesterday – not for any scandalous mistake… but to let her fans know that she wouldn’t be active in the social media for the next few days because she is busy preparing for her exams!

The endearing and classy girl, had just won a Special Jury Prize at the Kerala State Film awards for her stirring performance in Zachariyayude Garbhinikal. A fact made all the more sweet and memorable because her kid brother, Sanoop, too won an award for Best Child Artist for his role in Phillips and the Monkeypen at the same ceremony! What a treat it must have been for the family of gifted children and proud parents.

Of course, one supposes where the elder sister goes the baby brother must follow – Sanusha too had grabbed the Best Child Artist honor back in 2004 for her role in Mammootty starrer Kaazhcha.

The director of the upcoming Mammootty flick ‘Gangster’ set for domestic and international release on April 11th, Aashiq Abu, seems to have got himself in a bit of trouble in the social media recently.

It was before wrapping up ‘Gangster’ that Aashiq happened to hear the recent hit viral Mallu Rap song ‘Maahithe Pennungale Kandkka’ sung by a group of amateur girls, which spread like wildfire on WhatsApp. Inspiration struck the director soon and he decided on his next project – a movie with importance to music and dance starring his wife and actress, Rima Kallingal. The couple posted the news on Facebook and even quoted the song as their inspiration.

Then trouble started raising its head as news came out that the song was sung by school girls from Kasargod district and then counter arguments indicating that it was schoolboys who originally came up with it. The debate soon turned to Aashiq himself on Facebook pages and online crowds accused him of being partial to his home district of Kannur.

Though the director came back on Facebook making it clear that who sang the song had nothing to do with the movie itself, which was just inspired by it and the song would work regardless of who sang it, the fight has now moved in to an interesting chapter.

It seems lyrics are being set to the same tune against both districts by respective natives and now a social media war of ‘battle rap’ is raging between the two areas, online.

Who would have guessed listening to a song and being inspired by it could have led to so much trouble for the ambitious director?
