Senior actor Rajashekhar has scored super hit with his last film PSV Garuda Vega and is now coming up with a period thriller called Kalki. Directed by Prasanth Varma of Awe fame, this film is all set to release worldwide on June 28. The makers have officially announced the news this morning.

Actually, Kalki was supposed to release during last month itself but it got postponed due to the delay in VFX works. Now, all the works have been wrapped up and the movie will be sent for the censor certification soon. 
Already, a couple of teasers of the film have been released and got a good response.

The makers are planning to make extensive promotions during these 15 days before the release. Adah Sharma, Nandita Swetha, Poojitha Ponnada and Rahul Ramakrishna will be seen in other key roles of the film. It is produced jointly by Rajashekhar and C.Kalyan.

We have come to know that popular producer C Kalyan who bankrolled Balakrishna’s ‘Jai Simha’, and Sai Dharam Tej’s ‘Inttelligent’ movies is a regular visitor to FNCC who relax there with his friends. Apparently, on 10th of this month, he was there along with friends but something unexpected happened.

Apparently, Kalyan engaged in a fight with a person named Vijaya Reddy. While playing cards, there arised a difference of opinion which further turned into a fight where they verbally abused each other. Later, FNCC issued a suspension on both of them.

Balakrishna Nandamuri is busy with his dream project titled NTR. On the other side, he was supposed to work with VV Vinayak for a film in the production of C Kalyan. The rumors revealed that it will be the remake of Kannada hit film Mufti. But, the latest update reveals that the project has been called off. Balakrishna is said to have disliked the story that Vinayak prepared based on the original.

Balakrishna did not like the changes that were made to the script and he decided to call off the plan to act on it. Vinayak who is disappointed with the same is planning to take time to come up with another story for Balakrishna. The director and actor earlier teamed up for the film Chenna Keshava Reddy.

As of now, there is no clarity on Vinayak’s next and the complete details will be out soon.

Mega Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej’s new movie Jawaan is getting ready for release soon and the film unit re-shooting some of the scenes in the flick. As per the latest reports, Sai is joined today in the shooting of his new movie directing by VV Vinayak. The film is said to be an action cum family entertainer.

The major portion of shooting will take place in the US. Lavanya Tripathi is the heroine opposite Sai Dharam Tej in the flick. The film produced by C Kalyan under C.K.Entertainments Pvt Ltd banner

Intelligent and Durga titles are under consideration as the film’s title.

It is known news that Lady Superstar Nayantara has been roped in for Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 102nd film which is progressing at brisk pace in the direction of KS Ravikumar. It is being produced by C Kalyan.

It is heard that Balayya will make his screen presence in dual avatar and there will be two more female leads. Earlier everyone thought that Nayantara would romance with Balayya for the third time after ‘Simha’ and ‘Sri Ramarajyam, ’ but according to the latest reports, Nayanthara is not the heroine of the film. She is going to play the role of wife to a crucial character and will be seen essaying Balayya’s mother.

On the other side, Nayantara will be seen in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Sye RaaNarasimha Reddy, to be directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan. We have to wait and see what kind of role she is going to play in Megastar’s 151st film.

Nandamuri Balakrishna is going to romance three actresses in his upcoming film, directed by K.S. Ravi Kumar. Produced by C. Kalyan, it is being touted as a faction film.

A source close to the unit said that, “The story demands three female leads and the makers are planning to rope in one of the leading actresses for the roles.” Already, Nayanthara has been signed to play the female lead.

The names of other two actresses will be revealed soon. Names like Tamannaah and Pragya Jaiswal are also being considered. Incidentally, Balayya’s Paisa Vasool will also feature three actresses – Shriya, Muskaan and Kyra Dutt. The details may be revealed soon. It is heard that Balayya may appear in dual roles.

Nata Simham Nandamuri Balakrishna who was spotted at the pumpkin ceremony of his latest film Paisa Vasool immediately joined the shoot of his new film shoot. The yet to be titled film is directed by KS Ravi Kumar. C Kalyan is going to produce the film on CK Entertainments banner. The film is surely going to be an interesting one at the box office.

Nayanthara has been confirmed to play the female lead in the film. The regular shoot of the film kick started with the first schedule which is going to progress for more than a month at Ramoji Film City, C Ram Prasad is the DOP, and Chiranthan Bhatt is the music director of the film. Ace producer C. Kalyan’s son, C. Varun Kumar, was found involved in a theft at the Film Nagar Cultural Club. A case was registered against unknown persons, but an investigation revealed Varun’s role.

According to police, G. Srinivas from MLA Colony had come to the club on Wednesday for a swim. He kept his mobile phone and wallet in the locker. After the swim, he found his wallet missing. Based on his complaint, Banjara Hills police registered a case and started an inquiry.

During an investigation, police found that Srinivas’s Axis Bank credit card was used for multiple online transactions and payments. Banjara Hills inspector K. Srinivas said the card was used for making transactions worth about Rs 2.1 lakh in less than 24 hours time.

The police said, “Based on the card usage at a different location, we traced the suspect and identified him as C. Varun Kumar, who is also a member of the FNCC.”

Natti Karuna, the daughter of noted Tollywood filmmaker Natti Kumar, has come down heavily on senior filmmaker C Kalyan for his baseless allegations against her father.

Along with her brother Kranthi, Karuna addressed the media and said that her father has been admitted into ICU in Yashoda hospital because of the allegations levied against him by the members of Telugu film producers’ council Ashok Kumar, Sivarama Krishna and mainly C Kalyan.

Karuna said that C Kalyan has no manners as he dragged the family members of Natti Kumar into this issue. She added, ‘My father always stood for truth, and he has all proofs to prove his allegations against Kalyan, Bandla Ganesh, and others. All the proofs will come out as soon as he recovers. If the allegations of Kalyan are proved true, we are ready to go to jail. I will not leave him if anything happens to my father’.

The war of words between producers Natti Kumar and C Kalyan is not new for the film industry. We have been seeing it from years and the latest is that we have come across the same recently again. Natti Kumar recently held a press meet and had come down heavily by claiming that Nayeem’s people have guarded his disputed land in Madhapur area of Hyderabad. He also targeted C Kalyan and few other producers from Producer’s council and made some comments on them. C Kalyan has given an answer for him in a counter reaction.

C Kalyan reacted to Natti Kumar comments and said that there are many people whose lives were affected by Natti Kumar. Kalyan also said that Natti Kumar blackmailed many of his heroines regarding blue films. Kalyan also commented on Natti Kumar’s family. Kalyan said that Natti’s son kept his Yeto Vellipoindi Manasu movie online. He also added that his family used to get money in the name of funds as Christain missionary works.

Kalyan also said that those who have connections with Nayeem will be surely punished. Now, it’s time for Natti to react again on the issue.

“Mayuri” movie that earned a good talk at the box office is running successfully in both Tamil and Telugu. This film is made on a unique backdrop of the thriller genre. Nayanthara is the lead heroine in this film.

With the film becoming a hit, producer S.R.Prabhu had conducted a success meet in Chennai last Saturday. Though the whole team was present at the success meet, heroine Nayanthara was absent. The film “Mayuri” saw Nayanthara in an important role as the major part of the story revolves around her. With Nayanthara also being a reason for the film’s success, her absence for the success meet raised few questions.

This isn’t any first time for her of bunking or skipping promotional events of her films. Since 2012, she didn’t attend any of her films promotions.

Though the expected answer from the producer will not be convincing, media persons asked about Nayan’s absence. The well-prepared producer answered swiftly that she is busy in her other film shooting so couldn’t take out time for attending this event blah..blah..blah.

With the answer thrown by the producer, Media wasn’t ready to accept it. When asked the same question to Telugu Producer C. Kalyan, who was also present at the success meet, he raised his voice over Nayanthara’s absence. He alleged that her absence isn’t her fault but purely the producers. If the producer’s take serious actions over heroines who skip such promotional events, they will fear to repeat it. He further added that being absent isn’t small issue; the producers are paying to them even for promotional events at the time of the agreement.

“Mayuri” director Ashwin Saravanan spoke to the media and said that his film has a good story. It would have remained as a good film for its story even if Nayanthara wouldn’t have acted, but wouldn’t have reached to lot number of people without her.
